Oh and before I forget, the amount of people who are loving Hiyori and are trying to sell this disgusting behavior as protective, or worse, like he’s right in his words? Like somehow a ‘sad’ backstory would suddenly justify what he is doing and everything will be ok and he will be loved by all! That is frightening. I think I might skip fandom and the show this time around as I don’t have the stomach for this. Gifs will do.

Hiyori intentionally hurting Haru that way, and it was intentional, is majorly over the line as it was a truly messed up thing to do. I don’t trust Kyoani to in any way properly address this. They’ll cover it all up with shit like aw he’s protecting his friend, he’s had a bad past or some mix of this and they’ll just gloss over how awful this was.

Tbh my enthusiasm for season 3 is almost at a zero.
