Idea for Necromancers:

Do you think there's ever been such a thing as a service minion for a disabled necromancer, or even the family member of a necromancer? Theoretically they'd be tougher, require less maintenance, and be more customizable than a living animal, though at the cost of being slightly less cute. Imagine:

Paralyzed necromancer who uses a wind rider minion to manipulate objects (those long tentacles are good for grabbing and climbing)

Seeing-eye minion. Either the necromancer can literally see through its eyes, or it just helps guide them around. It gets the vest and the do-not-pet sign and everything.

Rattlesnake minion that wraps around the neck, possibly under clothing for subtlety. It's trained to sense the changes in heartbeat and body temperature that accompany an upcoming panic attack/PTSD flashback and rattle its tail as a warning.

Taste-tester minion that can be used to test for poison or common allergens. It can detect certain chemical compounds but won't be harmed by them, since it's already dead.

Emotional support minion (ESM). May give everybody else around it anxiety, but it makes its necromancer feel safer.
