I still think about your Jay!Skully au from time to time. I like to think that Hoody’s occasional hubris is contagious to Skully in this au and that it gets worse when the two of them are together.

Skullys hubris is actually worse than Brian's in this AU. He wants to do everything himself, so if that means having to work with Hoodie for the mean time for the ultimate goal for him to come out on top, then it's what he's going to do. I actually have a note in my google doc for the AU that Jay's "detective" skills are exacerbated tenfold under The Operators influence. Skully is very much self aware, KNOWS that Hoodie is using him, and in return uses him back!!! They have this really weird dynamic going on that I love so so much
