Hello, I am Sir Theodore - I like to think of myself as a Knight of Hearts, as I wear mine on my sleeve! This blog is for knightposting, but it may venture off topic. Please feel free to message or send asks, I donât bite (usually) â€ïž
Profile picture created by the lovely @knightclubbing (thank youuuu) <3
All who are 18+ are welcome as long as you are not bigoted, this is a realm of acceptance and respect. Be kind!
Also, this knight is very switch-verse, if youâre curious. Any are welcome to ask my preferences for kink, or for anatomy languageâveer more male most times and you should be fine, though!
Sending you a ray of sunlight through the fog that burdens you, courtesy of my kingdom down south
(i.e. a splattering of kisses across your face)
This is so incredibly sweet, thank you đ„șđ I accept your sunlight with open arms and joyâthere is indeed a reason you come from such a kingdom and bare such a name, as you bring much light and warmth!
To miss a love (a first love of all things) is like nothing else. The twisting aching feeling of your heart, as though it is truly being broken again and again. Then to know it was the right thing, that the love was not enough to make it work, rips apart your soul.
I knew you once. I was yours, and you were mine. I still am in a way.
I knew your every minuscule expression, I knew your favourite meal and how you disliked technology. I knew the softness of your hair, and the warmth of your laugh in my ear. I knew the feeling of your hand reaching around me in your sleep, and how your snore comforted me until I joined you in your slumber. I knew how you wanted to be a better dad than yours was, and how we both wanted a little girl someday. We thought of names for her.
You gave me my first kiss. My first true party experience. My first nervous exploration of anotherâs body, and my first pleasures at another exploring mine. You gave me friends that felt like family, and a mother-in-law (to-be) who felt like another mom when I missed mine so much.
I forget nowâhow did your silly jokes go?
I forget nowâhow big is your hand compared to mine?
I forget nowâhow does my name sound in your accent? How does âI love youâ shape your lips just right?
I wish I didnât have to forget. And I wish I could forget it all at, the same time. My life feels as though itâs lost itâs saturation. When will I get that colour back? Please, tell me I get that colour back even without you.
Dearest knight, I am very truly sad. I want to be loved and held and told that I am admired... but I always feel like I'm annoying and attention seeking. Am I unlikeable or simply too much? My mind simply won't quiet down for the evening before I sleep and I needed someone to hear this... I am truly sorry for this out of blue
-Your very sad and lonely, angel đ«
I apologize greatly for the late reply to this, as it got buried in my notifications a bit!
I admit that this is something I have heard before from othersâand indeed, have even worried about myself before. It is natural to worry that you are possibly too much, or annoying, or merely unlikeable somehow. It is incredibly difficult to deal with, but it happens to us all!
I wish to assure you that it is untrue. Your mind is simply dealing with emotions, attempting to protect you from heartache, yet doing the opposite in the process. Try to understand that these thoughts are natural insecurities which pop up, and work towards combatting them! Perhaps simply by observing a few examples that the opposite is true, such as someone actively asking to hang out, or someone telling you they have fun with you.
Furthermore, it is normal to seek attention!! We thrive off of attention and connection with one another. It is not bad to wish for it! As long as you do not harm another (emotionally) in order to get such attention, it is fully okay to ask for it or seek it out in some manner đ
I hope this can help in some way. I do not know if you were seeking advice, or merely wishing for someone to hear you. If it is the latter, please feel free to ignore the above and know this: I see you, I hear you, and you do matter.
A letter arrives with sloppy writing, as though the one who wrote it was in a rush.
Dear Theo,
Have you seen Aris of late? I didn't spot him at the ball nor have I seen him after the hunt.
I've grown worried, there are awful rumors spreading about a badly wounded stag and someone even muttered the word "death".
I attempted to contact Aris' liege and received word that he's passed away, but... I do not believe it. He never responded to my second letter where I asked to visit and see the body.
Something nefarious is happening. The night Aris allegedly "died" something disguised as him approached me.
Please, will you accompany me to his home? I fear for him, I worry there might be something awful at play.
Your love,
Princess Margaret

[I write a letter in return, with surprising penmanship for a knight. There are small smudges here and there, presumably from tears.]
Dearest Princess,
The news of Aris has troubled me greatly. I in no way believe him to be deceased. The stag harmed was not him, but I do recall being worried that I could not find him after the hunt.
There is great darkness in his pastâindeed, it is in his present as well, as far as I know. The master he serves⊠I have bits of knowledge which deem this master to be a plague on our poor Aris.
It troubles me even more to know that an apparition appeared disguised as him! Whatever the case, I can feel it in my heart that he is not gone, but merely in need of our assistance.
I will meet you before you leave. Tell me the time and place, and we shall go together. Two hearts, two minds, two lovesâstronger together (and mad as hell).
Another letter arrives, this time smeared in blood.
Theodore,
Meet me at my castle. Things have changed, I've become queen though the coronation must wait. A band of knights can travel with us if needed. Gods, don't let me drag the siege weaponry along, it is taking all my heart not to launch ballista as I write.
And travel safely. Please, please. I cannot lose you too, Theo.
The blood is alarming, as is the news of Margaretâs newfound queenship. Is this good news? It⊠doesnât seem to be, as far as the blood and letter show. But perhaps I will just have to ask her when I arrive.
I donât take the time to write a response, but simply start clambering into my armour and going to ready Willow. There is no time to waste.
The day seems darkened, as does my heart⊠At least I will soon be in the presence of my dearest prinâQueen? I shall ask later her preference while in privacyâŠ
It is merely a few hours of riding before the castle comes into view. I tie my horse nearby and rush to find Margaret.
âPlease, the queenâwhere is she? Sheâs expecting me.â I am hurried, voice gruff and almost desperate.
The maids knock on Margaret's door to announce Theo's arrival. She leaves a half packed trunk on her bed and flies down the hall, just barely remembering to lift her skirts before she trips.
"THEO!" Her voices rings down the stairs to where Sir Theo is being directed to her. When she spots him there eyes go wide and she nearly flings herself down the stairs into his arms.
It's a flurry of fabric and limbs as she wraps herself around him and pulled him close.
"Oh thank the gods, Theo, you're safe," Margaret presses her face into his neck and clings to him. "Theo, I've been so worried for you. Both of you. Oh, what do we do? Aris is still alive, we both know it. His master, you said his master is a plague on him?! W-we... I-i can get the trebuchet or-or--"
She cuts herself off and holds on while silent tears roll down her cheeks.
My heart pounds in my chest as I finally catch a glimpse of Margaret. Her voice calling my name is enough to bring a smile to my otherwise sullen face. I catch her, and hold her as close as possible--I care not about the eyes on us, forgetting everything but this safety and comfort for just a second.
"Oh, my dear... *ahem* my Queen...", I am uncertain the proper ettiquette at this moment. "Shall we go somewhere private a moment to discuss such matters?" My eyes dart side to side, looking to all the servants whom are witnessing such a vulnerable moment. "I am alright, but it is Aris I worry for greatly... Let us go talk a bit, yes?"
I give one final squeeze before letting go, tenderly wipe the tears from her eyes, and await Margaret's next move.
She nods and takes Theo's hand, leading him to a study not far off. The walls are lined with books and there is a seating area with two couches across from one another. She gestures a maid to bring them tea and snacks while they get settled and once they're finally alone, Margaret leans forward.
"Theo, I don't know what to do. Too much has happened at once and I am ready to salt the earth," she leans forward and puts her head in her hands. It takes a moment and a few deep breaths before she looks up at him and the bags under her eyes are evident.
"I consulted with another queen on what could be done and... she said to gather intelligence first then strike... But... if he's injured... or it gets worse..."
She looks at Theo, "I fear either path will lead to loss."
I follow suit, eager to finally have a moment alone. At her sudden sunken nature, I canât help but move and kneel in front of her to take her hands.
âAh, my dear Margaret⊠I feel it in my heart that he will fight as hard as he can until we can get to him! I⊠I did see, in a vulnerable moment, his fear of chains⊠and marks upon his wrists from frequently being chained.â
I lower my head, brow furrowed and heart sullen at the thought of what Aris may be going through this very moment.
âI would spit upon the devil of a man who does such things to our Aris! His lordship will not save him from the wrath I carry in my heart. I know not of the intricacies of politics⊠but I know war, and I know blood. I know fury, and I know love. We shall get Aris through this, I swear it.â
I squeeze her hands, moving to sit beside her now and offer any comfort I can.
"Chains?!" She squeezes Theo's hands for comfort as her fury rises. "The bastard uses CHAINS on him?! Gods that explains some things..."
Margaret pulls a black hand mirror out from a hidden pocket in her skirts, "I've been learning to scry. I've tried seeing if I can find Aris this way, but things are still so hazy... but I've seen bruises and I thought I saw him? The face was blurred, but there were bruises on his neck."
"If... If we approached, what on earth would we say? How could I bodly accuse another noble of hiding away a knight with no proof? I'd look more mad than everyone thinks I am!"
"And you CANNOT go alone. Forgive me, Theo, it feels so selfish, but I cannot risk losing you too," her vision is blurred by a sudden onset of tears.
"If his master is as awful as you say, I fear you'll be taken too."
I grimace at the thought of Aris being hidden away, bruised and afraid... I hold Margaret closer, shushing and wiping her tears awayââOh, my dear... You needn't worry about that. You will not lose me, I won't allow it to happen."
I take a moment to think, wondering of the possibilities and plans which could bring Aris back to us. Seek aid from another royal whom is close to us? Perhaps visit this so-called lord under the guise of wishing to pay our respects, just to eye our chances at a rescue attempt?
"What if... We make a visit, under the guise of me being your personal knight, and you simply making the rounds as a new Queen? We may find something out this way, even if it is only to gage how large an army this man has! I don't think he would dare capture a royal, nor the personal knight of one. He has seemed... Politically adept. Unwilling to risk outright betrayal like that."
I am merely thinking aloud at this point, wishing to find some way forward. "And... I know not of how scrying works, but perhaps being closer in proximity could assist in seeing Aris clearer?"

*Lukai manages to calm down as Theodoreâs efforts to reassure him work like a charm. The trembling appears to subside for the time being and Lukai manages to pull himself together for somehow the second or third time today after meeting Theodore.*
Thank you truly for being so kind, sweetest Theodore. Youâve really managed to reassure me and help to..um..keep me grounded, if that makes sense? The bath was wonderful and your company has been impeccable, so I seriously consider myself in your debt. If there is any possible way I can make up for such hospitality, through ways of payment or otherwise, please do tell me; merely keeping you company in return feels a little inadequate.
*After a second, Lukai realises he may sound ungrateful for keeping Theodore company and stammers wildly.* N-not that I donât want to stay with you and keep you company to make you happy! I..um..I just feel like I could do a little moreâŠif that makes sense?
*Lukaiâs mood shifts as he chuckles when Theodore forgets his shirt and flushes red - his laugh is surprisingly loud for someone of his smaller size. His eyes follow Theodore for a moment as he walks over towards the door, before clambering out of the bathtub and drying himself off. He soon changes into the pajamas that were brought for him; they fit very well over his figure compared to the baggy clothing he arrived in and are far more comfortable. Lukai soon steps out from behind the divider and taps Theodore on the shoulder.*
All done. Where do you want to go next, Theodore?
- đïž
(I apologise if some of my asks are written a little awkwardly! Iâve been a little busy recently and I havenât had tons of time)
[The compliments cause Theodore to grow red once more, but an easy smile falls upon his face as the smaller man becomes flustered. The knight cannot really think clearly of a payment... Indeed, he feels as though he should pay Lukai for his lovely company! As all of this is swirling in his mind, he awaits the artist getting dressed.]
Oh, dear Lukai... there is no need for payment. Your company is enjoyment enough! I am a man who quite enjoy's getting to know others, and this castle is here for people like you anyway--it has been crucial to the Lord and Lady of this keep that no stranger ever be turned away!
[The tap on the shoulder causes Theodore to turn around, finally able to fully see Lukai once more. It is nice to see the man relaxed and clean from the bath, as it did seem that he was on the road for quite a while.]
Ah! Lovely. Well, I can take you to you room now, if you'd follow me? 'Tis just down this hall. [The knight leads the other man out of the room and down the hall, stopping a few doors down.]
Well... Would you like anything sent up? A meal? Some tea? There are clothing options in the armoire as well for the morning... [Theodore seems to stammer a bit, rubbing the back of his neck, uncertain how to end the night.]

A familiar face slinks over to Theodore after the hunt. His fellow hunter, who had inexplicably frozen up mid hunt.
âSir Theodore, correct?â They ask, then barrel on without waiting for an answer. âIm Velkyn, though you may call me Vel. I, um. wanted to congratulate you on your successful hunt. You were quite good.â They give a sheepish grin. âIm glad my mistakes didnât ruin your chances.â
They reach into the satchel at their side - where did that come from?- and withdraw a crown of yellow flowers. Simple dandelions, braided carefully into a circlet. âI donât know if there were prizes or anything for the hunt, but⊠this is my⊠congratulatory giftâ they explain as they hold it out.
Theodore perks up at the sight of the other, happy to know they werenât too downtrodden by the understandable mishaps. âAh, pleaseâit is quite easy to freeze or move in the wrong manner during such a hunt. I was merely lucky!â
The gift is quite a surprise, but certainly a welcome one! His smile is wide and bright, reaching out his hand to take the flower crown. âThis is such a lovely gift! Why thank you! I shall wear it with pride.â Theodore carefully places it upon his head, tangling into the curls of red.
âPlease, visit anytime! I would enjoy getting to know you, dear Velkyn!â His smile is genuine and warm.
âOh. Thank you.â Vel rubs the back of their neck.
âYou were⊠quite good. Though Iâll admit, I left shortly after your first blow hit. I do hope it all ended well.â They clear their throat, eyes flicking up to the flower crown. âThe dandelions suit you. They go well with your hair.â
They look away, rolling something between their fingers as a fidget. âAre you enjoying the festivities?â
âIt ended well, yes. But again, it is partly luck! The ways of the wilds are unpredictable!â Theodore laughs, hoping to both reassure Vel and (partly) deny the compliment.
He blushes a bit at the comment, playing with the crown in his hair a moment. âAh, I am enjoying the festivities yes! Quite a bit going on it seems, but the company is lovely nonetheless. And you? Have you had fun, dear Vel? Anyone accompanying you?â The knight gestures to the seat next to him, offering it to the other with a smile.
