Hello. I was wondering if you knew a fic on Ao3 where Wille is friends with Simon's grandmother and she finds out he's queer so she introduces him to Simon. I know there's a story where Wille meets Simon's grandfather who is a musician, but the one I'm searching for is an ageing grandmother who is excited about Wille and Simon meeting. It was a nice fluffy fic without a grand plot.
If AI watermark anon is talking about the Claude tags which are visible in the page source code if you copied and pasted text from the AI text box, I doubt that people who want to pass AI fics off as their own will keep leaving them in now that it's become a widely known feature... Even if they don't have the means to remove them yet, a tool will probably become available before HR S2 comes out next year so we will still have to stay vigilant.
A good thing for ppl fearing ai fics is that one of the commonly used bots for this will implement a watermark in the text, so it'll be easy to discard those fics
this is hyperspecific but i think wille's parents are the type of people to get willle diagnosed with something as a kid (e.g childhood depression at 7) and just.... never tell him. keep it a secret even to him so he doesn't "feel different" or some shit

As well as our annual Kinktober, this year we're also declaring the prior month to be Flufftember for those less into the smutty stuff - or who like to do both!
How are we defining 'fluff'? Well, it's whatever you want it to be, but we're thinking feel good stuff and positive vibes - could be gen, shippy or other; could be focused on one character or several, or a romantic relationship or friendship or family; could be a meet cute, an established relationship, a slice of life, a glimpse into the future, a bit of angst with a happy ending, or anywhere else your imagination takes you.
The only limit is no smut please - leave it for Kinktober!

I think that Erik, if he would have been able somehow to explain and find redemption for his hazing participation, he would have had the most roaring discussions with Simon. And afterwards they would have maybe like built Legos, or played something while they chilled and chitchated.
Making no one understand how they could be switch so between seemingly heated arguments and friendly behavior.

That is Wille.

Don't know if I've said this before but I am fairly certain that post canon wille and Simon take turns being in contact with their fathers. Like Simon might start thinking maybe I should text my dad and wille's like "no he makes you miserable" but then he does it anyway and then 3 months later he disappoints him in some way and no less them 3 days letter wille agrees to meet up with his dad for dinner. And since repeat on and on.
(crucial to this headcanon is the belief that wille still regularly meets and visits his mother by manages to somehow avoid ludvig the whole time. In my brain wille is calling her every Sunday and sending her cards and stuff. Meanwhile his last message with his father is him telling him happy father's day which ludvig gives a thumbs up react but doesn't reply.)

I like to pop in on fics from various location, as a way to maybe give them more hits. And a guest kudos if they are open.
Oh I've done extra kudos before by opening a fic in an incognito tab!
Also a comment that's like "I read this again! Double kudos!" is always nice.
Mods: THANK YOU for organizing the gift exchange! I've only had a chance to read a few of them, but I've been blown away by the variety and thoughtfulness of the stories, and the perceptive characterization, not only of Wilmon but so many other characters.
The fandom has been feeling extra small recently, so this really feels like Christmas.
This wouldn't have happened without you and I'm so grateful. 💜
I'll step out the usual "we as a team" and give credits where it's due.
I personally haven't done much for this event for personal reasons. The ones we should truly be thankful to is @andthatisnotfake and @oneofthosebells, the two other mods who did an amazing job. They took time out of their personal lives for this fandom and without them, these events wouldn't exist. They were here in the beginning and never left, despite busy lives and other interests and fandoms.
I also want to thank everyone who participated to this event, and those who never fail to produce something to keep this fandom alive. It is true that the fandom is smaller, it's been two years since the last season, but it's by engaging in the fandom that we keep it alive.
In that regard, I encourage everyone to go take a look to those new fanfics, read a couple of them, leave some kudos and comments. That's how we keep a fandom alive.
