Hi lovelies !! Apologies for the silence from us as of late, we have had some difficult decision to make and it’s never easy. Unfortunately we have come to the conclusion that we will have to close Young Blood for now, only after a month of kicking about. We really appreciate all of those who have applied and all of those who have been with us. The dashboard has been magical to watch and there have been so many beautiful characters that we simply adore. However, busy lives and a lack of time means that we cannot dedicate the time we want and need to keep YB as magical as we had planned.

world update

what follows is the beginning of what the admins hope to be weekly world updates. these updates will include relevant knowledge about characters, the wizarding world, and the war. please contact the admins if you’d like your character to be included in a world update.

WORLD UPDATE JUNE 15th 1979

the first prototype of WOLFSBANE has entered the wizarding market. wolfsbane being a new potion that is rumored to alleviate, but not cure, lycanthropy symptoms. unfortunately, the potion is expensive to purchase and highly difficult to brew.

the strain on wizarding society worsens as more and more muggleborns and their advocates grow disillusioned with the ministry’s efforts to protect them. small riots on both sides have started springing up in far out towns and villages - easily handled by hitwizards and aurors. 

the daily prophet reports that a muggle family were found dead in a small village near hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. aurors suspect the killing curse. less than a day later the prophet retracts the story.

tilden toots’ radio show It’s Easy Being Green (the predecessor of his wildly popular Toots, Shoots ‘n’ Roots) recently commemorated its one year anniversary. inspiring celebrations in toots’ small but growing fan base.
