The young Ichimaru tilted his head, a single index finger lightly tapping his chin before he nodded, though he really didn't understand why anyone would be doing such things. Some people are just crazy to him. "Soka... Aizen-Taicho, how come you don't do Fw...Fwivolous things?" The child asked the older male with genuine curiosity.

"Good evening Yoichi. Most people are gone this time of day because they are either preparing to bed… Or to go out and do frivolous things."

Eyes widening at the familiar voice, crimson eyes rose and a bright grin crossed the child's face. "Aizen-Taicho!" The child squealed before he gave a face of understanding. "Soka!" He paused for a moment. "What does Fwivolous mean...?"

Quickly, she moved her finger from getting bitten seeing his anger, it amused her, she laughed, standing, as she petted the boy’s head. So short, so cute.

" I don’t know who your Oto’s is, but Me, little boy, you should not mess with, I could eat you, and leave you for dead. " She laughed once more. " Now…" She coughed, crossing her arms under her chest. " What is your name? "

"... I am alweady dead, t-technically shpeaking..." Yoichi mimicked her, crossing his arms against his chest. "I's Ichimaru Yoichi, and I's a shinigami," He replied as he lifted his chin a little bit, trying to make himself look tougher than what he actually was.

" I’m an adult kid, I think I can…" She grumbled to herself, before crouching down, and poking his cheek, scowling at him. " What are doing ‘round here all by yourself anyways, huh kid? " she poked his cheek again.

A small growl came from him as he was poked. "Oto-chan allows me t' explowe, he says its h-healthy for a gwowin' boy," He snapped his teeth at her poking finger as she poked his cheek again.

Welcome To The Academy! | AU | Childishillusions

“And if he does, we can always find things that he can play with… while teaching him not to hurt what we don’t want to! Remember how we taught him not to claw at our clothes?” Sousuke responded cheerfully a smile appearing on his face, remembering the times when the two of them had needed to train the playful and rather intelligent kitten what was and was not okay. The little brunette had found that he enjoyed the experience and wondered if they would be able to keep the cat after they found a division to settle into… After the two of them graduated the academy.

The dark haired brunette was determined not to go back to his and Yoichi’s old life, despite the idyllic moments that they had had… The… Incident a few years ago had driven the point in to the both of them very painfully that while their eccentric presence was barely tolerated by the other souls in their district, if push came to shove, not a single damn one of them would warn them if danger was approaching. The… The cowards likely hide in their rooms as the bandits passed, while setting out anything useful for them to pick up and take away as they saw fit.

Yoichi was… Yoichi was his in a way that Sousuke would never be able to explain. The two of them fit together in a way that he had never experience – including the dim memories of before… Before he had met Yoichi when he had occasionally run in the packs of kids. But none of them could keep up… None of them understood. Yoichi did. The silverette was also completely unafraid to give him a smack on the head or a comment if Sousuke had wandered into his mind and had forgotten to see the world around him.

Sousuke smiled a little and linked pinkies with his best and dearest (only) friend nodding “I promise that if one of us dies, the other will finish the academy and continue to being a soul reaper, as strong as they can, and to live for the other.” The dark haired boy silently added that he would protect the other as they had protected one another, no matter what happened. Even if Yoichi found others he liked better than he did himself, and if the silverette decided to hate him, the brunette would make sure that Yoichi would be safe and happy.

Remembering back to when they trained the kitten before, a small face crossed the younger boys face at the memory. Though the kitten was indeed intelligent, it did take a lot of time and patience to train the small feline; but the thought that only one of them will have the kitten if they decided to go their seprate ways once they graduated--Yoichi stopped himself from that. Yoichi was more than determined to be at the same level as Sosuke, even if it mean training himself to the point that he could barely keep his eyes open from exaustion.

As the pinkies linked, Yoichi gave that well known, childish grin. The one that caused his odd crimson eyes to shine like he just found something incredibly amazing in the ground. The one that light up his already pale complextion and bring life into what ever is around them.

"Good! I'd haunt you until you kept that promise if something did happen." Yoichi teased the older boy before unlinking their pinkies. Though such a childish thing, Yoichi kept his promises to the heart, like fish in the water, he thrived to keep the promise going.

Feeling a small paw on his cheek, Yoichi looked down at the kitten before a small laugh escaped his lips before letting the kitten jump down from his arms. Turning as the kitten purred, Yoichi quickly snatched the glasses off the bridge of the others nose, something Yoichi knew Sosuke wasn't use to wearing since the officials at the academy realized that the brunette couldn't clearly see that well. Putting them on his face, he pushed the bridge of the glasses up, only to have them slip down his nose again. Clearly the glasses weren't meant to be wore by him.

"Shall we get t' goin'?" Yoichi grinned once more and strutted off with the others glasses still on his face.

Dx gomen to all that want to rp with me, I’ve been really busy with school and I start my exams in a few weeks so I’m up to my nose in studying and family problems and bleh v.v I try to be active on the weekends but I most likely won’t be constantly active until November. ): But to all that wish to rp with me, I swear I’ll rp with you when I’m more active.

“I checked the rules, and as long as both roommates agree, and if the animal is not destructive or venomous we can keep one pet in our dorm room. We have to keep the pet safe and happy, and if it destroys something we gotta fix it, or work off the debt so that the school can fix it… So… Do you, oh roommate of mine, want to keep the kitten in our dorm room?” Sousuke responded, a playful smile appearing on his face, grateful that the younger had found something to distract him from the anxiousness and bitter-sweet victory of entering the academy.

Yes, this place would be missed, and while they would have likely been content to stay here… The two young males felt that it was… It was right that they entered the academy. They had spiritual pressure, and if they didn’t know how to use it, a hollow would eventually be able to trap one or both of them and devour them. Sousuke did not want to become a meal for a hollow, and neither did his silver haired friend.

The little brunette had resolved that he would do his very best in the academy, and if Yoichi asked, he would help the younger if he needed it. Not that Sousuke thought that Yoichi couldn’t do it all on his own but Sousuke could sense that he was just a bit stronger… and more clever… than his younger friend.

Besides he still remembered the tiny silver haired boy who followed him around like a lost puppy, who didn’t know who not to trust, and who would get so hopelessly lost, or get into terrible amounts of trouble, and needed him to bail him out of trouble, or fish him out of whatever snarl he had gotten tangled into. “You know I’ll always be there for you, right, Yoichi?”

Yoichi looked up at the grey and white kitten that had perched itself on his slender shoulder. Reaching up with a child like hand, Yoichi scratched the felines neck lightly in thought before that big, child like grin crossed his face. "Mm! He won't do any harm to the things in our dorm--at least I hope he won't." Yoichi remembered when he had to potty train the poor tiny kitten, bring back to health with what he had. Though he was still considerably small, he was just at that right size that he would still be healthy.

Crimson eyes looking towards his friend, Yoichi gave a curious look as to what ran through his intelligent mind. It had been Sosuke that had taught him how to write and read-- as much as he could anyways. Many spirits in the Rukongai districts didn't know how to read, let alone, write after a certain amount of time in the Soul Society; but since Yoichi was quiet small when he had died, he never learned how to do both in the living world.

A small wrinkle caught the bridge of his nose then. Though Sosuke was older, Yoichi still envied the other. Being older, it was Sosuke that watched over him on many occasions and situations. As they grew, the noticeable changes to the both of them started perking up attention to the other spirits that lived in the area. Though Sosuke was still considered young to the much older spirits, he was, in many others terms, very handsome--compared to Yoichi's short, and small stature. Yoichi didnt have that noticeable stubble that peeked along his jawline, nor the squaring off chin of maturity as his best friend had. It was then that Yoichi released a small huff, being pulled from his thoughts by both a rough tongue lapping at his ear and Sosuke's question.

"Nani?" Yoichi laughed that half laugh whilst giving the brunette a half crooked smirk. "Where in Kami-sama's name did that come from Sosu?" Though he was sure he knew, Yoichi answered the question anyways. "Of course Sosuke..." Yoichi trailed a little and held up his pinky--a childish promise.

"Promise me, Aizen Sosuke, that no matter what happens, if one of us dies--" He continued before the other could speak up, "Finish the six years there, if not earlier and live for the other." Though it wasn't often that Yoichi was serious, the look in his crimson eyes and the expression he wore showed he was dead serious.
