Sungjin is actually a responsible leader. Let me explain. I realized it before we debuted. Sungjin, for 3 to 4 years, had been playing the cajon. Suddenly, he was told to switch to guitar. Onstage, playing guitar and singing simultaneously, it’s really really difficult.  Just playing guitar at home [compared to] playing onstage, it’s an entirely different level. First off, standing onstage in front of people, your hand trembles once and you miss a chord. Sungjin made a huge effort to overcome this in 6 months [before debut]. That’s really huge! – [Jae, 2nd Anniversary Vlive] _______________________________ First time I joined the company, I only thought about singing. I believed myself to be a vocalist, but then I was given a guitar. I had to sing as I play, compose songs and write lyrics. It felt like a dead end.  There was a position change [from cajon to guitar]. That really made me panic. When I was in the acoustic team, I was in charge of percussion. I didn’t have the chance to play melodic-oriented instruments. Then suddenly I had to start playing a melodic instrument. When you first hold a guitar the hands don’t automatically adjust and it hurts! At first only the palm hurts, later the fingers. Learning the guitar gave me such stress, but there’s no other way than practicing. As I started band music, I started to like music more. I came to really enjoy being in a band. fuck…… sungjin being known by day6 members and my days as one of the biggest eaters in the band is STILL always the one to feed the members first. hold up, let me cry for a good 23 years about that. even when he hates being fed, he’s always the one that putting food into his members bowls or their mouths before eating himself. In their timeless samgyetang v-live, he specifically picks out food from his dish to give to dowoon and wonpil. he has on multiple times given jae food, and made sure that young k was eating. sungjin is one of the sweetest, most altruistic and loving people in this universe and if you disagree then fucking perish.
