Family

A short animated film which expresses a lot of feelings and thoughts. A very heart touching story of a son and his father whose battling against his illness. Its a filipino animated film which is directed by John Aurthur Mercader. This story is based on his own life & experiences.

I recommend this film because we could be easily flown away by the scenes of this film and on how the story goes. Its for all ages. It tells us that life is a cycle. It goes on and on.

If I would rate this film, I would rate 10 out of 10 because I do love this kind of film and also it is a Filipino made film which we should support the own creations of our fellow kababayan.

"Depression"

This type of film is very different from what I've seen for a long time ago. Its just my 1st time of watching a film without any dialogue of any characters on this film. Its a musical yet the background music is the one that controls the emotions in this film.

This film is kind of confusing because it has a lot of scene that shows flashback of the childhood memory of the character. Its like a psychological disorder and a trauma of his experiences.

Maybe its a nice film and if you wanted to try some new taste in movies, I could also recommend this film. But yet for me its kind of confusing.

If i would rate this film, I would rate 6 out of ten. I didnt like it overall and I dont want this kind of film. Its kind of mysterious. And in addition, you should moved on from the past so that you can grow from your present life. Forgive and forget. And dont let yourself be a burden of your past.

Experience

This film teaches us how experience can save us in any situations. How we learned things in our past that we can relate into the present time. This film had a good story board which made the movie much interesting to watch.

Jamal who was an orphan back in his childhood, a beggar and a thief. He was the main character in this film. He won the prize in the game show by only answering the questions based on his experience. This film shows what happened on Jamal's life during his young age. A lot of flashback's that is featured in this film.

I do recommend this film because its fun to watch and it is relatable in our society which shows the poverty, and the increase of organised crime which is made by syndicates. From a beggar to a millionaire.

Life goes on

We all know that there's no such permanent thing in this world. Everything stay and leave. Especially humans. We all die, but in what way should we wanted to? This film would show you how life great is. In how blessed we are, how God give this life to us. This movie shows what rituals and traditions on how japanese culture did on the corpse of there love ones.

Okuribito means departure, people died and leave. But before they leave, we all wanted them to have a good farewell. In this film it show how they do there rituals on the dead body. Its a heart warming film. You will realize how lucky you are if youre still living with your love ones.

I did like this film, and the character of Daigo. I do like his willingness and his passion to his job. Even if at first he struggles but he did made it. His job is called disbanding, a Japanese traditions and rituals on the dead body of the one who passed by.

If I were to rate this film, I would rate this 8.5 because it has different theme. Sometimes its comedy, tragic and a sad film. Overall I do really like this film. I recomment everyone to watch this. Its very nice movie for me.

LOVE IS A BITCH

Amores Perros is a film in which the story revolves around three people -- Octavio, Daniel, and El Chivo. Three people who have different life stories each involving a dog. The film is constructed from three distinct stories linked by a car accident that brings the characters briefly together.

Amores Perros is a city movie. Central to everything that happens in this film is life on the streets of Mexico City. They set dog fights as their way to promote their business and their way to gain money illegaly. It shows the cruelty about animals especially the dogs.

A love which you will do anything and everything for it, this film shows different kinds of love which especially shows cheating. Although this shows poverty which is a big problem in our society and then the animal cruelty.

If I will rate this movie, I will rate this 8 out of 10. Although it is rated spg but I really like how the they insert twists on this film. But i dislike the parts when they shows corpse of dead dogs. Because I do really love dogs thats why in some ways I dislike this movie. But overall, this is a film that I do recommend to watch 18 years old and above because it seems to have a parental guidance when watching it.

FAMILY LOVE

A heart warming film which shows the love of a family. Showing the ambitions, trust, faith, courage, determination, will, and goals of a young kids.

The story tackles about poverty which is a widely problem in the world. The film could be easily relate with the current situation of our society. Where we have a different social status in life. But it shows how big this problem is, it could not be a barriers in persuing your dreams.

Maybe it is a film produced in Iran but we could relate on it, because nowadays we can feel the poverty in our country. But we still have a lot of goals in life.

The film is about a little boy named Ali whom lost her sister's shoes and they have to share for a pair of shoes. It shows his love for his sister and he wanted to do everything just to replace the lost shoes. Then he joined a contest which he won the first place but didnt get the prize which is a pair of new shoes which she could give to her sister. Its a very interesting film because every character portrays their role well.

If I would rate this film from 1-5, Ill rate this 4.5. Just because I do really appreciate the story of this film. How it started until how it ends.

Christmas Truce

The movie Joyeux Noël (Merry Christmas) is a movie about the so called "Christmas Truce" through the eyes of the World War I soldiers from Germany, France, and Britain. It was written and directed by Christian Carion starring Benno Fürmann, Guillaume Canet, and Hollywood star Diane Kruger. The film, which included one of the last appearances of Ian Richardson before his death, was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film at the 78th Academy Awards. It is a fictionalised account of an actual event that took place in December 1914 when Wilhelm, German Crown Prince, sent the lead singer of the Berlin Imperial Opera company on a solo visit to the front line.

I recommend this fil beacause it shows love over hate. It shoes no matter what happened int the past can be change in the future. From war to peace, and hate to love. Thats what can Christmas do

For me it was created for people to realize the the past isnt all about the world war but also the beauty of the positive things that happened during that time that mde our history today.

My rating about this movie since I have learned a lot from it especially with historical means is 4. It's a very touching at the same time and it could be a reliable source of information to anyone who would want to know something about the Christmas truce during World War I in Europe.

“Moulin Rouge”

Moulin Rouge is a 2001 Australian–American jukebox musical romantic comedy film directed, co-produced, and co-written by Baz Luhrmann starring Nicole Kidman and Ewan Mcgregor.

Mental illness is real and an issue that no one talks about enough, particularly in our society nowadays. Dealing with this, a lot of people tends to act like it was an overreacted situation by using it as a tremendous source for entertainment.

A romantic film that will teach you how to fall in love unconditionally. A love which you will sacrifice everything for the one you love and fight for it. Brace yourself and fall in love again. Fall in love with her beauty and see the beauty of how she dances-- the beauty of the dance genre, Moulin Rouge.

If I would rate this movie 4 out of 5. I do really enjoy watching this movie, a lot of twist happened and all the characters stand out. A romantic and a musical film which makes it more very interesting.

Where am I?

In the past few years, Manila became one of the most densely populated city in the Philippines which is known as “The Pearl of the Orient”, that centralizes the everyday life of Filipinos.

“Maynila sa Kuko ng Liwanag” is a 1975 Filipino drama film that depicts the Filipinos who risk their lives in working to get a decent living. The film was directed by Lino Brocka based on the novel In the Claws of Brightness by Edgardo M. Reyes. It stars Hilda Koronel, Lou Salvador, Jr., Tommy Abuel, and in his film debut, Bembol Roco (credited as Rafael Roco, Jr.). The cinematography is by Miguel de Leon, who would later become a renowned director himself.

As what Ive understand about this film, it tackles about how people from province adopting the life of people here in Maynila which is way too different from each other. It shows the perspective of people on what they know about Maynila.

If I would rate this movie, I would rate this 8 out of 10. Maybe it is somewhat like an old movie but a lots of credits from the producers of this film. Old but gold.
