sheepishly popping in after an eternity. the past year has been difficult to say the least but my mental health has improved somewhat and i’m thinking about revamping and rebooting this blog some point soon because i super miss lise.

andrei’s been injured && he’s in the tent with anatole who’s lost his leg. i’m not okay.

my mum got news on friday that she’s going to be going in for her operation in the next six weeks && so that’s why i’ve not been around. we’re trying to help her firmly decide whether or not to go for it because there’s a chance of post-op complications which could leave her unable to work ever again. all is well and good and she’s healthy, it’s just she’s had issues with her bladder since childhood that’ve gotten progressively worse with age (and two kids) and this would be to fix that. i’m hoping to actually honest to goodness get around to doing my drafts tomorrow. tonight i just want to take a break, complete a gif pack i’m working on, finish reading the battle of borodino, and maybe watch some grey’s anatomy or one tree hill.
