Question for Pa: how do I style up an outfit without wearing heels?? I feel like I'm always wearing leggings and a t-shirt and I could make it fancier with heels but I can't wear them for every day looks.. Do you have any tips??
Flats, sandals, and slip ons are about to be your new best friends!
Pointed flats are so classic and can really dress up an outfit without even trying. They also can give the illusion of pointed heels without the heels part (aka a blessing)!
They’re also an amazing thing to have in your closet because they work all year round and are good to pull out for any semi formal occasion. Invest in some!
Lace-up flats have recently really come into trend and as they are like the pointed flats but give a different vibe and are super cute!
If you’re whole outfit is sort of plain, they can really up the look with the laces. You’ve got yourself a whole new look! They’re right in between casual and dressed up.
Platform sandals can give you that extra couple of inches (if you’re like me, you probably want it) and can give your whole look a new retro-y look.
Okay, these may look ugly and old but with the right items, they could potentially boost you up all the way to business meeting ready!
Get some in different colors (like those light blue ones!) with different detailing (texture-wise or a chain on it) to start mixing up your color palettes for a whole new look.
Slip Ons can give your looks a new pop especially with all the different colors, patterns, textures, and detailing they have nowadays.
You can also get them in plain black for any casual day but also get them in different colors (and stuff like I listed above) to make a simple outfit more edgy and fun!
