I finally fully redid it

HIHI! My name is Crow, and I'm developing a yandere visual novel!

I do not condone the actions of the yandere characters I write, and it isn’t something that should be romanticized

Usually, I will post around 2pm EST.

I went to buy the strawberry and basil soap, and they’re sold out 💔

So if I can find the green food coloring, expect to see a basil themed cake within the next week (green outside and pink strawberry flavored inside)

I just fell into a rabbit hole of soap making videos online, and one of them made a STRAWBERRIES AND BASIL SOAP BAR, AND IT WAS GREEN AND PINK

The only thing I could think about that whole video was basil, for obvious reasons

But like, it’s so perfect, I might actually have to buy it. I mean, his favorite food is strawberry cheesecake, it’s too perfect to pass up

This also may or may not be an excuse to feed my addiction to soaps. Honestly, anything that smells good. Candles, incense, essential oils, soaps, perfumes, colognes, wax melts, literally anything that smells nice. I was not allowed to go into a bath and body works alone, past tense because I now choose not to shop at Bath and body Works 

Bath and body Works know what they did.

My long distance partner just visited, so I've been hanging out with them, and kinda forgot tumblr exited ngl

ANYWAY

Today, I decided that I needed to have common phrases that elves use to go along with their languages, so this is what came out of it.

The part between the last two lines doesn't really make sense because she speaks in elvish there, but I had to remove it since you're not supposed to know what she says. (I promise it will make more sense when the game is released)

Yes! I honestly haven’t made a post asking for voice actors yet because of the fact the story isn’t finished, and I don’t want you guys to just have to sit around for a few months without doing anything

I don't really see people talk about how embarrassing it is to go back and read your writing, no matter how recent it was.

Like, everytime I reread my writing, I just feel so embarrassed about it, even though there's only 1-3 people who have seen it apart from me.

I know its the middle of the night, but I’m going to yap a bit

So, it’s pride month, right? And almost all of my characters in the Anthropologist are apart of the lgbtq community is some way shape or form.

Basil is pansexual and a demiboy

Elowyn is a lesbian

Briar is bisexual

Alruna is aroace

Elijah is gay and his boyfriend is a binary trans man

I know a lot of you may not know these characters, since basil is one of the only ones who gets talked about here, but some of them have been mentioned in basils personal blog @basil-the-anthropologist, but I want to start talking more about them here soon

Anyway, I honestly just wanted to say that this blog has never been, and never will be a safe space for transphobes or homophobes, and that if you are either of those to please leave. I appreciate your support, but I do not want it if you are someone who is against my existence as a abrosexual trans masc.

Basil with a sleepy mc? Like they just sleeps almost all the time. Somtimes they go missing but they are just asleep somwhere so random.

Honestly, He'd think it's funny and a little cute. He does not sleep well at all, and he hates it, so he'd be very happy that you do.

If he found you somewhere random he wouldn't wake you unless he had to, you'd more than likey end up back in bed, no matter where you fell asleep. Just don't question why it's his bed and not yours.

I don't know if I've ever talked about this before, but I don't understand the hate around selfshipping/yumeshipping from a creator perspective.

It really doesn't make sense to me. Like, you enjoy a character I created enough to want to date them??? That's so fucking awesome!

I also feel like this is one of the highest forms of flattery that you can receive (especially when the characters are from a dating sim). You love my characters enough to want to DATE them??? I made a character THAT good???

I do understand disliking it if they're being weird about it. Ex. dating child characters as a fully grown adult, or disrespecting their canon sexuality.

Like yes, I will be uncomfortable if you're a woman shipping yourself with one of my gay characters, same if you were a guy shipping yourself with my lesbian characters, and the same goes for my straight characters as well.

And, I will absolutely despise you if you're a grown adult shipping yourself with one of my minor characters.

I also don't see any problem with it if they don't have a canon sexuality; at that point, go nuts. All of my characters do have canon sexualities, so something like that won't happen with my characters, but it just pisses me off to see the hate around that kind of stuff. Especially because I see so many people saying "you can't do that, they're straight." when the character has no confirmed sexuality.

I didn't go too much into the child x adult stuff because I feel like it is very self-explanatory, there's absolutely no way for someone to misinterpret that, and there's absolutely no exceptions to it.

If you ship yourself with one of my characters who isn't attracted to your gender, I'm going to think you're a little weird, and probably a bit of an asshole who doesn't respect boundaries irl, but it's your choice at the end of the day, and I'm not going to try and physically stop you.

But, if you end up shipping yourself with my child characters, I'm going to think you're really fucking weird and disgusting, and I will ask you to stop, and if you don't, then you're just going to get blocked.

HOW IS THE WEBSITE MORE UP TO DATE THAN MY DOCUMENT???

So, I have a doc where everything goes, right? There's different tabs for different things related to the story, and then headings for different things so it's easier for me to find stuff.

Anyway, I was farting around, finding any excuse I had not to write the storyline (as one does), and I checked the section where I keep everything the full game is going to include for myself; makes it easier to track in the long run, and realized that the WEBSITE was more up to date than my fucking document.

I'm not even mad, just wildly confused on how it happened.

I'm assuming it was one of those 2am fuck ups that I come across randomly while rereading eveything though.
