this season WILL be emma d'arcy's emmy win if there is any justice, they're absolutely transcending the game so far this season - a complex, layered, and fully embodied performance - and there's finally the appropriate amount of focus on rhaenyra (the literal main character btw) if their reaction to jace's death wasn't enough (gut-wrenching btw) ep 3 showed off a bunch of other shades of their performance and I'm sure the rest of the season will too, such a privilege to watch them on screen truly

listen, doctor who is my for lifer type hyperfixation, I will always love it, it's my comfort show, I've stuck with it through many, many low points

I have to laugh, this situation is so so ridiculous on so many levels

honestly trying to see it as a good thing, maybe a proper hiatus/wilderness period 2.0 will result in a truly fresh and revitalised reboot a few years down the line, it's clear that the show has been on a downward trend for a while now and I'd love for it to get some new life

hopefully I can simply fill the void by rewatching my favourite seasons a billion times in the interim, it is sad to imagine an unknown period of time where there is no new content of my favourite show though :((
