I SEE THE RESEMBLANCE😹😻
Waking Up
Bella was up early with Charlie this morning. She wanted to help him out with packing lunch for his fishing trip with some of his friends from the station and La Push. Something about this trip was special for Charlie. The fish? The location? Bella wasn’t sure because she had lost interest in the conversation long before Charlie actually got to the point. No matter she was happy he was excited for the trip so she did her part and offered to make lunches for the whole group. Bella felt like she owed it to her father to do something for him. He was a simple guy so her choices were pretty limited, but luckily the way to Charlie heart was by food. After everything Bella had put Charlie though making a few extravagant lunches for him and his fishing buddies was the least she could do. Bella hated that she had worried him so much in the short time she be been living in Forks, compared to her behavior when she was living with Renee, this was not the Bella he was expecting.
With Renee, Bella was the model daughter- Charlie was expecting it to be easy, and at first it was. Charlie was surprised at how easy it was to have Bella home. He had heard horror stories from buddies down at the station of what teenage girls were like, but Bella was nothing like that. Not in the beginning anyway. Bella was a good student, great cook, and seemed to like Forks for the most part. Charlie was elated to have his daughter home, but even more pleased to know that together they cohabited well. Living with Bella was easy for Charlie, and his only regret was not having her live with him earlier. But the familiarity of the horror stories of teenage daughters Charlie had heard about all came true the moment Bella began dating one of the Cullen kids. Overall Charlie liked the Cullen’s. He thought the good doctor and his wife had done an amazing job raising their brood of teens and they all seemed to be so well behaved. He thought that before one of them began dating his daughter though, and since he and Bella became a thing the thing Charlie feared came true. Bella had ran away to Phoenix after they broke up, only to get back together, only to break up again. During the time the Cullen’s were gone Bella was a zombie and it scared Charlie something awful. Then Edward had come back, and Bella was re-obsessed again, never spending any time with anyone else, fighting with Jake and her grades suffered at the same time, all which were trivial compared to the stunt she pulled after claiming to “cliff dive recreationally.”
Charlie heard about what happened from Jake after Bella got home and as soon as he found out he was on his way home to confront Bella about this, he wasn’t sure if she was suicidal or stupid, either of which he knew it was time for a serious intervention and talk. But when he got home he found Bella gone. He was left in agony for days not knowing where Bella had gone or if she was ok. Though her note explained things, vaguely, her behavior over the past months and the jumping off cliffs indicated to him that she was in danger. When she was finally home, Charlie was furious with her. Forbidding her to ever see Edward again and considered keeping her locked in her room for the remainder of her schooling. Although he was relieved she was home, safe and not incased in some kind of cast like the last time, he was so angry for what he had put her though. He couldn’t control his anger and for a second considered spanking her for all this. Luckily for Bella’s dignity, Charlie came to his sense and realized he couldn’t pull Bella over his lap and spank her like she was a child anymore. However, much to Charlie’s delight, the punishments that he planned regarding Bella and his mission to keep her apart from Edward went over better than he could have imagined. Each day Bella would come home from school and spent less and less time in Edward’s car when he would drop her off after school. She even became increasingly more irritated when talking about him and eventually gave up with fighting Charlie to allow her to spend time with Edward. Charlie had gathered they broke up. And by gathered it meant he went to the hospital where Dr. Cullen worked to ask exactly what was going on between the two. Charlie expressed that as much as he wanted to trust and believe what Bella was telling him, he wanted to check because when Edward was involved, Bella tended to make horrible judgment calls and constantly lied to his face. Carlisle had confirmed Bella’s side of the story, and had apologized over again to Charlie for his sons actions that caused Bella to act so out of character. Though Charlie wanted to hold a grudge against Carlisle and his whole family, he couldn’t. It was too hard. He could see that it was out of Carlisle’s hands the same way it was out of his hands to control both love struck teenagers. Charlie would always be grateful for Carlisle saving his Bella’s life the first time she ran away and for how good of a friend his daughter, Alice, had been to Bella when she came home. He and Carlisle talked for sometime, sharing stories of “parenting” teenagers and the struggles. Carlisle made sure that Charlie knew Bella would always be welcomed into their home, and that Esme was always there to assist Bella in anything Charlie couldn’t. That meant a great deal to Charlie because there was quite a bit of teenage girl stuff he didn’t know how to address. After their discussion however, Charlie felt more confident with having Bella “back,” Carlisle filled Charlie in that part of their break up was due to Bella’s inability to trust Edward again, and how Edward constantly undermined her concerns causing more friction in an already shaky relationship. Carlisle even admitted that he couldn’t side with his son on this, but that he was very impressed with Bella’s initiative to protect herself from Edward despite the comfortability and feelings towards him.
After his conversation with Carlisle, Charlie felt confident enough to start giving Bella a little bit of a break from her punishment. He was willing to allow Bella to spend a little more time with other friends now he was sure Edward wouldn’t be monopolizing all of her time. He also was willing to allow Bella to spend a little time alone on the weekend, since she had been home, Charlie made it a priority to stay home on the weekends to make sure she wasn’t running off when he left for a few hours. Luckily for him this finish trip was coming at the perfect time because he was really itching to make it back to the water to catch some fish. He was comfortable with letting Bella stay home alone, with the one rule that she not spend the day with Edward, which she assured him wouldn’t happen. When he finally took off before the sun even remotely began to rise, Bella helped him pack up the lunches in the cruiser, gave him a gentle hug after he made her promise to not make him regret giving her a little space, and she waved him off. Bella watched as the cruiser pulled away from the house before she closed the front door. A shiver ran through her body as she locked the door. She looked around and the dark house and sighed. After cleaning up the kitchen Bella stalked back up the stairs and into her room again. The clock read 3:46AM, and she sighed it was way to early to start her day and she was still pretty tired but she knew she wouldn’t be able to fall asleep just yet.
The house was oddly quiet, even though it was always quiet even when Charlie was home, knowing she was alone in the house made the silence deafening. Turning on her computer, Bella decided to email Renee. As much as put Charlie though, Bella couldn’t really feel as bad for Renee. She knew she worried her too, but unlike Charlie, Renee didn’t seem nearly as concerned. But that was how Renee always was, Bella had always been the parent in that relationship. Feeling a little resentful to her mother, Bella typed out a short and concise email to her mother, just to keep her satisfied that she was alive and not still jumping off cliffs. Bella groaned when she looked back at the clock, 3:58AM. Bella looked over her room, sighed as she pulled her scrapbook onto her lap after she crawled back into bed. Bella pulled her old quilt on top of her as she flipped though the pages. Bella looked over her life here in Forks, and although some of the memories were a bit tainted, some were still so sweet. Bella laughed embarrassingly at one of her and Alice. Bella was still in a cast on her leg and as always Alice her amazing. Bella hated the picture of herself, but it stirred happy memories. Bella remember when she finally came home from staying in the hospital for so many days. She was relieved to be home, but realized that there was not much she was able to do on her own. Luckily Alice was more than gracious to help her, and Charlie worshiped Alice for her help. He and Bella knew neither of them would be able to live with the other if he had to get her in and out of shower on his own. Bella remembered how embarrassed she had been when she finally gave into Alice’s insistence of letting her help her. Alice was able to help Bella shower, wash her hair, shave, clean herself and dress in a fraction of time it would have taken her to do one of the tasks. Eventually the whole process got easier, and less embarrassing for Bella, but that wasn’t why those memories were so good for her. Bella remembered a time that Alice had gotten her into the bath. It took a little engineering for Alice to manipulate Bella’s leg out of the tube but Alice was right about the hot water soothing Bella’s sore muscles as she soaked. Bella was embarrassed as always as Alice washed Bella’s body, but there was something behind her touch. Her fingers lingered in certain places that lit a fire under Bella’s skin. The two looked at each other, and without words they both felt it. Bella remembered the shiver that ran through her body as Alice’s hands moved soapy water over her skin, and how briefly their lips met, after that moment, Bella actually looked forward to Alice coming over to help her bathe. They continued to have brief moments together from then on that meant so much to her, and she was pretty sure it meant something to Alice too.
Since Italy things had changed so much much for Bella. Edward and Bella never really recovered. Edward was so dramatic and it made Bella question herself constantly. She resented him so much for what he did to her leading up to Italy. Sure what happened at her birthday party was awful and could have ended so much worse, but Edward left her without so much as a proper goodbye. He promised it would be as though he never existed. And perhaps if that had been true, she would have been able to move on- but there was a gaping hole in her chest that could never heal while he was away. She didn’t just miss Edward. She missed her best friend too, Alice. Alice was everything Bella needed in life. Someone who challenged her and made her laugh. Alice had a way of embracing all of Bella’s human flaws and even made fun of her for them while making Bella laugh at herself too. Bella flipped through a few more pages of her scrapbook before feeling her eyes start to get heavy. She looked over one last picture of her and Alice. One Charlie had taken. Alice and Bella sat on her bed laughing and smiling at the camera, from the looks of it was of a staged sleep over for Charlie’s sake. Charlie was always excited to have Alice over, and Bella loved the excuse of having Alice spend the night as well. They didn’t have to hide or hush their voices as it made Charlie happy that Bella finally had a friend that kept her happy too. Charlie had gone as far as phone Dr. Cullen to inform him that his youngest daughter was welcomed to stop by during the weekend, and that he’d appreciate it if she would knowing that Bella made better decisions when Alice was around. Charlie always saw Alice as a great role model to Bella, and he hoped she would manage to keep her safe while he went fishing. Bella looked over at the clock one last time, 4:07AM, chuckling to herself, Bella put her scrapbook down on the bedside table, switched off the light and fell back asleep for a few more hours before the day could actually begin. Her body was still tired from all the drama Italy had brought up, and although she was hopeful that Alice might stop by for the day, since Charlie managed to invite her over after he mentioned his absence, Bella was still recovering from the insane past year that conspired leading up to all this. Bella fell asleep almost instantly after her head hit the pillow. Early mornings of making sandwiches, emailing flighty mothers, and looking back at the past year really wore her out. Bella fell asleep thinking of how Alice saved her from the nightmare of a year, and she hoped Alice would take Charlies not so subtle hits and come over. Bella didn’t ask her, she knew had she done so she’d be there the second Charlie drove away, but she knew she depended on Alice too much, and wanted Alice to enjoy her weekend too by doing whatever it was she did all day when she wasn’t trying to keep up the appearance of being human. Sleep came fast for Bella, having spend most of the past year in a daze from lack of sleep, her body craved it now, and the silence in the house for once didn’t scare her like it had before, but allowed her into a peaceful slumber.

So for my advanced editing class this semester we had to make a “montage edit” where we combine footage/media from 2-3 different sources to create a final product with a completely different intended meaning than the original.
So I made twilight Gay.
Bella was fishing clothes out of her closet to find something appropriate. It didn’t matter of the dinner was work related or personal, her jeans and a t-shirt look wasn’t going to cut it tonight. After finding a simple dress she convinced herself she could dress it up by some make up and doing her hair. She sat on the floor apply her make up after setting her hair in curlers when she got a new text message.
Bella smiled idiotically and quickly began to reply.
[To: Grey, Christian] That’s very kind of you, thank you. My address is 1328 57th Street here in Seattle.
After hitting send Bella had butterflies in her stomach. It wasn’t like her to get so worked up over something like this but her new boss made her act so differently when he was around. She was drawn to him for reasons she couldn’t explain, but it was too tempting for her to pass on a dinner with him. Bella finished dressing and fixed her hair before she waiting for his arrival, her blushing and biting her lip anxiously as she looked out the window for him.
[text: Ms Swan] I’ll be arriving in twenty minutes.
Christian smiled as he sent his quick reply to Bella, exhaling deeply while putting on his boots. He didn’t really care that he wasn’t sporting his normal office attire, this was different. Twenty minutes later, he arrived at the address Bella had sent and parked hopefully in a spot he wouldn’t get towed. Getting out of the car, he smoothed down his shirt and went to the door, ringing the bell and waiting though the butterflies didn’t let him stand very still.
This wasn’t the norm for Christian, taking an intern out and if it went well, he may have to fire her because he never mixed business with pleasure. Then again, there was nothing wrong with letting Bella remain at the office since she worked hard and she was smart as a whip, though it was distracting most days when he saw her.
Bella checked her phone again at the sound of the “ping” letter her know Mr. Grey replied. She was just finishing up with putting her shoes on before she moved about her apartment to try and look at the door the whole time. She was slightly embarrassed her boss was coming to pick her up. Not because it wasn’t normal for an intern to go to dinner with the boss, but because of where she lived. It wasn’t the best neighborhood, and it certainly was a crapy apartment building, but with the student loans she owed and living off an intern salary, it was the best she could do to try and save up for a better place in a year or so.
When she heard the knock at the door Bella felt her stomach tie in a knot. She took tried to take a few calming breaths before grabbing her old purse and opening the door. Of course she fumbled with the lock and the deadbolt on the door, but eventually she managed to open the door for Mr. Grey. She smiled sheepishly as she held open the door, hoping he didn’t hear her struggle to unlock her own door.
“Uh, hi Sir....” she mumble quickly before looking away and chewing her bottom lip. She couldn’t believe she was about to do this. This was a very different turn of events. An hour ago she was getting ready to climb into bed and watch some movies, and now she's about to go out with the boss of the company she just started working for!
Bella was finally feeling like she was able to keep up with her duties at GEH as an intern but her job was hard. The work wasn’t, she enjoyed it for the most part, but the environment was difficult. She didn’t feel like she fit in. All the other interns and employees were beautiful and talented. She was sure a few of them had to be models. While everyone dressed in only the best suits and clothing, Bella struggled to keep her bargain brand clothes looking nice and neat.
Bella was sitting in her apartment, struggling to keep sane as she pushed through another evening alone. Her apartment was basically a hole in one of the worst neighborhoods in Seattle, but the rent was cheep and allowed her to payback her student loans on an interns salary. Because the sun had already set, Bella assumed she was in for the night. She didn’t leave her apartment once it was dark because it was too dangerous. Her stomach growled from hungry as she searched her empty pantry to try and find something to eat.
After giving up on the idea of finding anything to eat, Bella flopped down on her bed looking at her phone. Bella was stocking her old high school ex’s Instagram when her phone pinged as a text message came through. Quickly reading it she sat dumbfounded. She reread it again and couldn’t believe that she read it correctly. Having no idea what to do she sat there silently trying to think of why Mr Grey would be contacting her to have dinner. Surely if it was work related he would ask to see her during work, but the idea of him wanting anything to do with her for anything other than work didn’t make sense either.
Hesitating, Bella began to text him back:
[To: Grey, Christian] Good evening Mr. Grey, that would be wonderful. Where should I meet you? Do you want me to bring anything for the office?
After sending the message she jump up to find something to wear. None of her close were fancy at at so she looked through her work close for something that would do. After all she was sure this was something to do with business anyways.
It wasn’t a normal practice for Christian to ask someone to dinner that he had just recently met, or rather employed but he couldn’t help it. There was something about the young Ms. Swan that had him enchanted and he had to find out what it was. Maybe it was the subtle way her eyes wandered towards him anytime he left his office to go speak with the front desk. Or maybe it was the way her hair seemed to flow as she walked; her hips moving softly with each and every step. Perhaps it was the way her teeth gently sank into her bottom lip whenever he spoke with her, making it difficult for him to concentrate when she did it. Or it was the way that she didn’t fit in at all at the office yet she fit in perfectly in his mind.
Finally deciding to wear jeans instead of his usual suit, Christian dressed before checking his phone again. Smiling, he quickly replied:
[text: Ms. Swan] That won’t be necessary Ms. Swan. [text: Ms. Swan] This is a personal dinner, if you’re alright with that. [text: Ms. Swan] If you’d like, I can pick you up. Just send your address and I can be there shortly.
Bella was fishing clothes out of her closet to find something appropriate. It didn't matter of the dinner was work related or personal, her jeans and a t-shirt look wasn't going to cut it tonight. After finding a simple dress she convinced herself she could dress it up by some make up and doing her hair. She sat on the floor apply her make up after setting her hair in curlers when she got a new text message.
Bella smiled idiotically and quickly began to reply.
[To: Grey, Christian] That's very kind of you, thank you. My address is 1328 57th Street here in Seattle.
After hitting send Bella had butterflies in her stomach. It wasn't like her to get so worked up over something like this but her new boss made her act so differently when he was around. She was drawn to him for reasons she couldn't explain, but it was too tempting for her to pass on a dinner with him. Bella finished dressing and fixed her hair before she waiting for his arrival, her blushing and biting her lip anxiously as she looked out the window for him.

@yourbellamarie
It had been a month exactly since his last submissive left and to say Christian was full of angst and need was an oversight. He had met Bella Swan when he hired her as an intern but he couldn’t let that gorgeous brown hair escape him or her captivating eyes. The way her eyes almost automatically lit up whenever he entered the room wasn’t like most women that he met. She held an aura of purity and grace but there was something about her he couldn’t let go, hoping to find out soon exactly what it might be.
Going to his home office to get his phone, he searched for her number and bravely sent a text.
[text: Ms. Swan] Good evening Ms. Swan. This is Christian Grey. [text: Ms. Swan] Would you like to join me for dinner tonight?
Bella was finally feeling like she was able to keep up with her duties at GEH as an intern but her job was hard. The work wasn't, she enjoyed it for the most part, but the environment was difficult. She didn't feel like she fit in.
She didn't leave her apartment once it was dark because it was too dangerous. Her stomach growled from hungry as she searched her empty pantry to try and find something to eat.
After giving up on the idea of finding anything to eat, Bella flopped down on her bed looking at her phone. Bella was stocking her old high school ex's Instagram when her phone pinged as a text message came through. Quickly reading it she sat dumbfounded. She reread it again and couldn't believe that she read it correctly. Having no idea what to do she sat there silently trying to think of why Mr Grey would be contacting her to have dinner. Surely if it was work related he would ask to see her during work, but the idea of him wanting anything to do with her for anything other than work didn't make sense either.
URGENT: STRAIGHT MALE ALLIES NEEDED TO SHUT DOWN LEGAL RAPE “INTERNATIONAL MEETING”
This coming Saturday, February 6, at 8pm local time, followers of “Roosh V”- noted sexist, racist, homophobic, and overall horrible monster (not a human being)- will be holding secret meetings to rally for rape to be legalized. You didn’t read this wrong THEY WANT RAPE TO BE LEGALIZED.
This shit is dangerous af, and as they have barred anyone who isn’t male or straight, so we need all our white male allies to gather and shut this shit down. If you are a straight man of colour, please be careful. Even though the website says the meeting is for straight men of all races, the Roosh V following has also been known to be very racist and xenophobic.
Here is how the meeting will take place, as according to their website (I’m not going to link it because it does not deserve any hits, but all the info here is authentic- you may google and see for yourself):
We will have 165 meetings in 43 countries for our international meetup day on February 6, 2016 at 8PM local time. Hosts have been instructed to wait at the meeting point from 8:00-8:20pm before moving on to the final location. If you arrive at the meeting point at 8:21pm, you will miss the meetup. Arriving on time within the window is absolutely paramount.
To identify your fellow tribesmen, ask the following question to a man you suspect is there for the meetup: “Do you know where I can find a pet shop?” If you are asked this question, answer in the affirmative: “Yes, it’s right here.” You can then introduce yourself and get details about where to proceed at 8:20. If you ask someone for the pet shop and they appear confused or actually try to direct you to a real pet shop, they’re not there for the meetup.
If you are a woman, DO NOT GO, your safety is at risk. Roosh V has made it very apparent that your presence might be met with violence.
I won’t be able to attend a shut down (obvs- brown gay turban guy), but we need to shut this down ASAP. So to all my white brothers who identify as allies, now is your time to stand up and act.
I will be calling the RCMP and reporting this, make sure you report this to your local police as well.
Here is a list of all the locations where these men will come together (Roosh V himself will be at the Washington DC location):

the mug behind the rape legalization “movement”
Roosh V., a notorious “pick-up artist,” “Men’s Rights Activist” and raging misogynist/idiot and proprietor of the “Return of Kings” website, is organizing meet-ups in 43 countries throughout the world and nearly all 50 states in the U.S., this at 8pm, on Saturday, February the 6th.
Only heterosexual men will be allowed to attend the meet-ups, and Roosh claims he will “exact furious retribution” on any women or person that isn’t a heterosexual cis man who attempts to infiltrate them.
Last year, Roosh wrote an article in which he advocated for legalizing rape if it occurs on private property.
“By attempting to teach men not to rape, what we have actually done is teach women not to care about being raped, not to protect themselves from easily preventable acts, and not to take responsibility for their actions. I thought about this problem and am sure I have the solution: make rape legal if done on private property.”
“I propose that we make the violent taking of a woman not punishable by law when done off public grounds,” Valizadeh said. [x]
HUH?!
If that’s not charming enough for you, please enjoy this selection of current headlines on the Return of Kings website.

Places to avoid this weekend- I don’t know how busy most of them are, but, for example, the Vegas location is on Fremont Street, which is always packed on weekends, so… Be careful, everyone.
Weekend || Esme and Bella
Bella grinned softly as Esmes kind words. Bella allowed herself to relax in Esme’s arms as she looked back to the movie. “I’m happy we can spend time together too.” She said gently before being silent for a moment. Bella got lost in the movie for a while before she turned back to Esme.
“Mrs. Cullen, I know Rosalie isn’t thrilled about my choice to marry Edward and my desire to become like you guys, but…what’s your opinion?” She asked carefully, not sure if she really wanted to hear the answer. Edward and Rosalie bother had made it very known how much they hated her choice, but she knew what she wanted and why. “I don’t want to grow old and die alone without Edward. If it wasn’t for him, I would be alone considering my mother being so far away and Charlie always working.” Bella turned back to Esme with worried and concerned eyes, “do you think I’m making a mistake?”
As Bella settled in the crook of her arm, Esme let her eyes drift to the television, but her mind drifted as well. She truly wanted for Edward to find love with Bella, and it was clear she was ready to do anything she could to be with him as well. Bella’s question almost took her by surprise, but she met the girl’s gaze unfazed.
“Please… do not take Rosalie’s disdain for your choice as contempt for you as a person. Quite the contrary, in fact - she cares for you, therefore she voices her opinion to try and protect you from what she believes is the wrong decision… I can only speak from my experience and observations, Bella. Rosalie had everything in her human life, except the one thing she wanted - children. And that is the only thing she can not have now. On the contrary, I had everything I ever wanted taken from me, with no hope for a better future. This new life is happier for me than my human life ever was… but that depends on the person. And I can not say know that your decision is a mistake, dear… only time will tell. I do not know any vampire who has willingly chosen this life,” she finished softly.
Bella absorbed the words Esme spoke. She thought about everything that she could ever want- and what it would feel like to have those possibilities be taken away like Rose had. She also tried to imagine what it would be like to have those things and they have them taken away as in Esme's case. Bella was quiet for a long time as she thought it all over. Eventually a few tears fell from her eyes though she tried to keep quiet.
The only thing Bella could imagine she would ever want was Edward. Aside from Charlie and Rene, Bella didn't have any other family. Edwards family became her family and the thought of losing them was very painful. She knew at some point losing Charlie and Rene was inevitable and after that- she'd be alone forever.
★ @yourbellamarie liked for a starter★ “Do you need some help with that?”
Bella looked up and bashfully laughed at herself before nodding to Alice. "Yea, some help would be great." She said with a sheepish grin. Passing Alice the jar of peach jelly that had yet to be opened, Bella opened the peanut butter to make her sandwich. She hated eating when she was around her vampire friends but it was less embarrassing than having them all hear her stomach growling from the hunger. "Thanks Alice." She grinned before spreading the jelly over and finishing the construction of her simple meal.
