This is a different post from my usual content. And that's because I've been meaning to get my voice heard on something that's been bothering me for... ages.
I recently hit 1K, and as """a big blog""" why not bite the bullet and try and use it for good?

Stop darkening Quackity.
"But Tea!" I hear you cry— "But Quackity's Mexican! He's latino! How else would we draw him?"
It is taking me All Of My Strength to not wack you across the head with a newspaper. /j
Pull out some chairs ladies, gents and everything in between because ya boi has reached her god damn limit.
Allow me to elaborate:

Usually when people make "callout posts" about incorrectly portraying a ccs skin tone, it's usually pointing out white washing a POC like Skeppy.
That is not the case here, and it never seems to be.
Quackity is a light skinned POC that consistently gets drawn FAR darker than what he is.
As a light skinned POC (specifically a latina. double whammy.) it's.... incredibly uncomfortable and jarring.

I have a platform. It's a niche tumblr blog, but it's something.
SO HEAR ME WHEN I SAY:
A light skinned POC is still a POC. A light skinned POC should be respected. A light skinned POC being drawn with the wrong skintone is a sign that you aren't paying attention to their features beyond their ethnicity – and that's both lazy and disrespectful.
And if this post causes at least ONE fanartist to change their ways, or encourages ANY other POC to speak up, or any POC who felt discomforted, or simply be seen— Then I'll be thrilled.

This completely recontextualizes Tubbo being a former National Trampolinist :O on the one hand doing trampoline is not as obscure as I perceived so it's less unique, but on the other hand he had a lot more competition than I thought so it's more impressive!
