Oh ho ho. Okay so in this AU Mystery was/is a form of arms dealer. The long and the short of the reasoning is that Mystery sold an inator that was the cause of injuries to the kids and Robert to be hospitalized. To say he was pissed would be the understatement of the century. But this Heinz, instead of being reckless, devotes himself to ruining Mystery's allure.

By the weeks end Mystery comes home to the smell of cooking food and two abnormally cold hands clamping on to his shoulder and neck. "Mystery. Or is it Miggs, or Moris, or Martin, or Matthew, or maybe Michael?" A accented voice taunts next to his ear. Mystery nearly had a heart attack hearing all of his aliases listed. "Ah, doesn't matter much either way, we both know why I'm here".

"Look-" Mystery had started, trying to squirm away.

"Ah, ah, ah," The voice said as the hands tighten. "These are made of titanium, made them with my brother /your/ invention put in the hospital, they are not moving until I say so". The hands then led him to his sorry excuse for a dinning set and pushed him into a chair. "Now the OWCA does not know I am here or who you really are, /yet/. So know Mystery, I'm going to make you an offer you can't refuse".

"What?" Mystery spat out, desperately trying to seem like he had any control in this situation.

"You, Mystery, are going to continue selling you inventions to villans, but you will give the OWCA your customer list and inform us of any potential deadly schemes. In exchange, I won't hunt you to the ends of the earth to break every bone and rupture every organ in your body," The voice was overly sweet and oh so close. The hands squeezed again in a promise of future pain.

"Thought you agent types were above this kind of behavior?" Mystery bargained.

A quick bark of laughter. "You know, our agents are. But I'm not an agent, I'm an inventor, like you. And a small business owner, and single father of two."

"Dude."

"But, not an agent. So do we have a deal?" For the first times Mystery sees the face attached to the voice and hands. There are countless forms of torment in the brunette's eye and blood in his smile.

"Deal," Mystery's agreement was immediately followed by his kitchen times.

"Oh good the food is done. I'll send this recording the OWCA," the hand on his shoulder leaves. "Aaaand we can eat. I made spaghetti while I was waiting for you. Hope you're hungry."

Ok so my P&F AU is called Safe Haven.

So this AU breaks from canon way back when Heinz ran away to live with the ocelots. Robert, in the fear of being the only child left in his house, went out to find his brother himself. When he found his brother he ran to him in relief, mama ocelot tried to attack. Heinz of protected his brother. And they grew closer from there.

At 16 a certain organization took notice of Heinz's inventing capabilities. They offered to give him an education and move him and Robert to America, in exchange Heinz would work for them. He agreed without a second thought. Neither brother has spoken to their family in the old country since.

Although the brothers were always in each other's pockets, Heinz was able to find a friend in a boy named Harris Flynn at college. He even set him up with failed date named Linda. Where he found love in Charlene Poofenplotz, a who could understand him disconnect from his parents, having legally divorced her own. The two couples moved in next door to each other. Even naming the other couple godparents of thier children.

Until Harris died in an accident caused by a failed invention before Phineas was born. Even thought Linda and Candace didn't blame him for Harris' death, Heinz couldn't help but think about how a kill switch could have saved them all this pain. And his survivors guilt proved to be the last straw in his fading marriage. He still won full custody, though that might have to do with Charlene moving to New York.

He runs a beloved bakery and the neighborhood kids referring to him as uncle Heinz. Don't he also keep his promise to work for the OWCA. Let's see Norm was born at the end of their marriage. Like this man has two kids, three jobs, and a double life. Somebody save this man from himself. Robert got him a pet ocelot but it didn't help. Oh wait, Linda's remarried and the family includes and uncle Perry. Oh and his new step-nephew, Buford, thanks Robby.

When Heinz goes down to his lab to relax as Dr.D, OWCA's best inventor, he sees it has been extended to understand the Flynn-Fletcher's home as well and a confused agent. "Oh Heinz I forgot to mention a transfer agent is moving in next door. Meet agent P. Do you know sign language?".

Fast forward about three years and Heinz has strong armed Professor Mystery into being an informant. He's is also tempted to lock him and Peter in a room together or just smash their faces together. Oh, junior agents Vanessa the Vampire bat and Candace the Canary have officially been assigned a mentor.

Two later and Norm, Phineas, and Ferb have taken it upon themselves to help Heinz with his inventing. "Boys, I have Pinky and Miggs to help." Isabella has called dibs on the code name iguana when she joins. You better watch out Perry she's coming for your #1 agent spot, but don't forget her invitation to you and uncle Heinz's wedding.
