On this the second day of my 37th year on this planet I wanted to share a little love with my fellow, younger, late blooming sisters.... Please know that the slower path is not the weaker path, learning to love being alone is a great gift, never be ashamed to eat by yourself, resist the rush to have everything figured out by the time you're 25 or 30 or whatever, getting married later than all your friends is actually pretty fantastic cause you will be well seasoned, doing everything backwards by nature can be difficult- but provides wisdom and insight that will become a part of your daily life, a difficult childhood does not make you underprivileged- it makes you privileged in so many ways one of which is that you already know what you can survive- which takes most adults a long time to figure out... I bought this little bee charm to celebrate making it through my first semester back in college and to remind me what I'm working so hard for during the next semester. I'm currently still running my little Etsy shop, working full-time, working with private clients, and taking 18 credits to get my certification as an #ArtTeacher I believe in sentiment and symbols to hold on to while you're trying to achieve something small or big. I hope this #NewYear you go after whatever dream you've been sitting on. Know that we can all do great things in our lives.
