Dear Youth Pulse - I'm an up-and-coming youth that aspires to be as excellent as you. Unfortunately, I was recently shocked when a certain unnamed advertising recommendation system classified me in the 36 - 45 age group. What sorts of hobbies can I do to become more youthful? What is the secret to your Fountain of Youth?

Being a youth can be hard, especially when you are wrongfully classified by advertisers. Never fear, if you follow these easy steps, you will be getting ads for Razor scooters and Yu-Gi-Oh trading cards in no time!

1. Use Facebook. It’s a new social networking site. Myspace is for old timers. Armed with this knowledge you’re already one step ahead of the curve.

2. Use short form text on AIM and other cool instant messengers. For example, instead of saying, “oh my goodness, that was quite the hilarious comment you just sent me via this instant messaging service”, you might just say “lol”. Now wasn’t that easy?

3. Get your parents to buy you stuff. Nothing points out your youthful spirit like free crap from your parents. Plus if your parents get you cool stuff, you’ll be a cool kid. Being a cool kid is probably the coolest thing ever.
