April hadn’t said a word as she stared at the man and his mess, and she continued to stay silent as he spoke and made her options clear, pressing her lips together and looking him in the eyes until he was done. This all felt so oddly similar to her past with Caleb, and she didn’t know what to think of it — was she scared or somewhat nostalgic?
“I— I’m not a narc,” she murmured, trying to reassure him and herself. She certainly wasn’t, but she didn’t sound so confident of this. “’m not. D-Do you need help?”
Sasha wasn’t sure if he believed the girl, but he’d burn that bridge when he came to it. As long as she was offering to help clean up. The cleaning up was his least favourite part.Â
“Since you offered, the bleach is in the closet, don’t worry about any other evidence, my magic will take care of that. Blood’s just a bitch to erase.”
