Mat Whitecross could be working on a new film about Coldplay! 

According to Mat, 

“I’m working with Coldplay at the moment, I’m touring with them, I’m filming the live show. We haven’t quite figured out what we’re doing…But I’d love it to be a bit more in-depth, it’s up to them, it’s been 20 years for them since they formed, so it feels like it’s a good milestone to look back on the band up to now.”

“I grew up with Chris and the band I knew them before they were in a band together. In some ways it’s like a marriage with Coldplay because I see them every few weeks. In some ways we were trying to redress the balance with Oasis because they’ve been caricatured as people. It’s the same with Chris, people assume, for whatever reason, he’s quite boring but he’s actually one of the most interesting and eccentric people you’ll ever meet.”
