And if she says no but really does mean yes? You still listen to the no. She’s gonna be disappointed, maybe a little pissed, but she’ll learn. Much better to have a conversation about how if she wants to play hard to get you’re gonna want that made clear beforehand than to hope she’s playing hard to get and go through something that hurts your relationship and your partner.

It may be an awkward conversation the first time you have it but if you teach your partner that you are going to take them at their word then you tend to have a far healthier relationship because you both learn to communicate properly when you have problems.
