Seated on the wooden stairs that lead to his cabin,Damon flipped the harmonica between his hands playing a few tunes here and now. His turquoise eyes creased as the sun penetrated through his retinas causing his gaze to fall to the ground in defeat from the blinding light. Suddenly the rays that pierced through to his eyes was covered by the silhouette of what appeared to be a female figure. A petite frame and from what he could presume, long brown silky strands of hair that fell past her shoulders. Placing the side of his hand above his eyes as further shelter from the glaring solar beams,the dark haired male stood up from the stairs and inquisitively approached the olive skinned woman. “Hi…is there something I can help you with?” looking into her beautifully blossomed face,Damon couldn’t help think that he knew her somehow…from somewhere. Those soft doe chocolate orbs appeared so familiar to him. He wondered if it…was her. He’s spent five years faithfully waiting for her to return but she hadn’t and so why would she be here now. A wishful smirk appeared against his masculine features as he rocked his head to the side and placed his hand out towards her. “I’m Damon. Damon Salvatore…what’s your name?”
It had been a couple of years since Elena and her family had been up in their cabin, in fact it had been exactly three years. She knew that because the reason they stopped was because of her parents accident that caused their death. But this year it was different, she wanted to bring her little brother up there so he at least could remember how it looked when they talked about it. The place was filled with old memories of barbecue, swims and even the tree house she had built with her old friend that she had almost forgotten about.
When they arrived, they took the bags inside. But instead of unpacking as she usually would have done, Elena decided to go outside and take a walk, she walked towards the woods but stopped as she saw a man sitting on some stairs at the other cabin. Her curiosity made her walk over there with a polite smile, something felt familiar about the stranger, not to mention handsome stranger. "Hey I'm Elena. Elena Gilbert."
"Can you help me? The bad men took my mommy and daddy and they are trying to get me!"
Elena looked down at the little blonde child. "I uhm. Of course, I can." She replied with a soft smile. "Which bad men, sweetheart?"

"Hey.." Elena said carefully as she walked closer to the brunette. "I was actually... Avoiding both and looking for you." She said quietly with an awkward smile.

"It's okay, Mystic Falls can be pretty confusing if you haven't been here before. There's a motel down that street and to the right. I'm Elena, by the way."
