Soulmate AU

In Hell, sinners awaken with a soulmate. Their human name and the date of their death appear on their wrist. It is said that 95% of sinners have a soulmate, a second soul inextricably linked to their own. This bond is considered both a curse and a blessing: as long as a soulmate exists, a soul can never be fully sold. But sometimes, the very person bound to you for eternity is the one who harms you the most.

And then there is the minority without a soulmate. Sinners whose souls are deemed too corrupt to be shared with another. Vincent (now Vox) is one of these sinners without a soulmate.

He wouldn't get far without a better half. So, Vox began to lie: the Radio Demon. It was a persona that earned him both envy… and fear. After all, no one would dare kill the Radio Demon’s soulmate, right? But the lie alone wasn't enough… so he took matters into his own hands, using electricity to sear Alastor’s name onto his wrist, forever etching him into his skin.

Every sinner is reborn as either a Dominant or a Submissive, another one of Hell's punishments. Alastor has hidden his true nature for decades... until one argument with Vox changes everything.

This is a lesser-known AU, I'd love to share more of it with you. Vox fits the role of a submissive Top much better, but I can't resist writing Hell's strongest sinner as someone deeply vulnerable, who would rather die than surrender control bc he doesn't trust anyone enough... until he lets Vox in.

I haven't used Tumblr in years and wanted to give it another chance. However, I need to find my way around again first. But here, I could share more ideas and wouldn't be limited to just a few words.
