This is literally so fucking ridiculous, abusive and deluded. I have professionally diagnosed bpd, and you are a fucking piece of actual garbage because that is not behaviour that you should be doing, talking about on a forum in a positive light and ESPECIALLY ENCOURAGING

“empowering” people with bpd would be talking about DBT, about how these behaviours aren’t the norm in bpd individuals, about how to improve distress tolerance and emotion regulation, about how to have healthier interpersonal relationships and how to deal with trauma

empowering people with bpd is fighting against the stigma that bpd makes you abusive or an abuser, and that it always results in toxic manipulative behaviour and in the destruction of the lives of the people around you

You could be spreading awareness about the root of bpd being complex ptsd in women, you could be talking about the psychiatric bias against bpd women, you could be talking about the rampant hatred and mistrust for people diagnosed with bpd

@bpdsuperhero all you are doing is REINFORCING the idea that bpd individuals are abusive, you are supporting IRRATIONAL, ABUSIVE BEHAVIOUR and you are fuelling the societal narrative that people with bpd are incurable narcissists with a propensity for ruining peoples lives on a whim

The tumblr “bpd community” is a sick, twisted way for fucked up narcissists to reassure themselves that their abusive behaviour is warranted. Y’all are just a circle jerk fucking echo chamber of “i have self dx bpd so i cant be wrong or a bad person”

If you have bpd and youre reading this, there are healthy, productive ways of dealing with your issues, theres a million conversations that need to be had about this disorder. Op’s? Not one of them.
