"Yui, can you help me here for a moment," Ellen chuckled in amusement at her wife for a moment, before going right back after to chasing her two kids. The boy and the girl were running around, and Ellen was trying to make sure everything was good.
Oh yea, just a minute!

Samidare smiles sweetly as she goes to help her wife with the kids. She picks up the little boy with ease, he was the firstborn, then she went to corral her daughter. In the last few years her life has been in a good spot. Yui had matured in more ways than one with the former detective finally getting all that she started out on her journey all those years ago.
Ruruka is a confectioner, she makes sweets for all the kids. Trust me they're to die for. There's a ton of women who live here with their kids. It's sort of the reason why the compound was needed instead of a normal house.
Not being able to cook yet is smart. We really don't want to set off small fires or injure ourselves. Well, tell you what, you kids can make the dough in the donuts and i'll do all the hot surface stuff.
"Ruruka, seems really happy when she is with dad," Aeos replied before shrugging off the idea. He didn't really get it, but did notice that she seemed close to his dad just like his mom.
Rio shook her head about the idea, and continued for a brief moment. "No, I don't want to get into trouble, and it doesn't seem like a good move. Its what would dad or mom say, a bad move? If you need someone to watch us, maybe Mom, or Ruruka, or Aunt Mukuro, or Aunt Sayaka?"
Everybody's happy when they're around him. He practically radiates confidence. I think that's the reason we live in this small community is because of his kindness and caring.
Aoi finally drops the donut issue. It felt like a non winable argument with kids. She'd just have to find something else to keep them pre-occupied with; easier said than done at the current hour. With it being the end of may there wasn't too many activities they could do indoors.
