Phrases for a first encounter
처음 뵙겠습니다 - Nice to meet you (used for the first time - lit: First time to meet)
반갑습니다 - Glad to meet you
제 이름은 ____입니다 OR 저는 ____라고 합니다 - My name is ____ OR I am called ____
어디에 사세요? - Where do you live?
무슨 일 하세요? - What do you do? (e.g. work etc)
오늘 반가웠습니다 - It was nice to meet you today
다시 만나고 싶어요 - I want to meet you again (NOTE: I changed the speech style from formal to more informal polite, because if you are saying this to someone, you’re more likely going to be slightly more familiar with them… Otherwise that might be weird hehe)
연락줘 좀 알려 주세요 - Please could you let me know your contact details
제 핸드폰 번호 알려 줄게요 - I will give you my cellphone number (NOTE: If you want to show more respect to the person you’re speaking to, you could change 줄게요 to 드릴게요 to be more honorific)
저장해 주세요 - Save it please
그럼, 다음에 또 봬요 - Then, see you again next time

RVSN x SP Living Room Set
I recently had the opportunity to design a living room set with a very talented and wonderful custom content creator @ravasheencc.
Since her Couldn’t Chair Less Sectional Set was the reason we started talking, it was only natural we build the new set around those amazing couches.
We came up with a beautiful, modern and clean living room that any Sim would enjoy. I was responsible for the design elements of the set, while my dear friend Ravasheen did all the hard work by creating all these wonderful meshes. The set follows her chic maxis match plus style and looks beautiful ingame. We covered floors to ceiling and everything in between!
The main focus of the set is the amazing modular couch that snaps together seamlessly in many combinations. It can be a sectional, a sofa, a loveseat or a chaise sofa. It is fully functional and your Sims can lay down and sit on it. There are 6 swatches with matching decor pillows, a chaise, and an armchair.
Completing the set are two sets of built-in shelves, one with drawers and one without. A chevron top coffee table and a fireplace that connects seamlessly with the shelves for a variety of combinations, complete the set. And since I LOVE clutter we added some essential clutter as well.
Make sure to watch the reveal video below, every item and every swatch is shown, as well as some finished living rooms to serve as an inspiration what you could do with the set.
Set includes (24 items in 6 swatches):
Modular couch
Chaise
Armchair
Built-in Shelves
Built-in shelves with drawers
Built-in Fireplace
Coffee Table
Large area rug
Medium area rug
Pillows
Picture Frame
Decor Tray
Decor Vase
Flower Bouquet
Candle
Standing Books
Stacked Books

hii~ What's the difference between -ㄹ/을 수 없다 and 못+verb? I know that they both mean can't but I don't know when to use either
Hey anon!
You’re correct in stating that they both mean ‘can’t’, hopefully, this answer will help clear some confusion you have.
I used to have this problem as well - I didn’t know which one to use for the longest time and I would say:
한국어를 말할 수 없어요 VS 한국말 잘 못해요 - I can’t speak Korean
I mentioned it a little in my Basic Communicative Sentences video. When using -ㄹ/을 수 있어요/없어요 and 잘 (못)해요, 잘 (못)해요 is more natural! Of course, you can say either! But they’re completely different depending on the situation.
-ㄹ/을 수 없다 - is used when you are unable to do something at the moment (due to the temporary obstacles that occur) ~ 비가 와서 갈 수 없어요 ㅠㅠ - I can’t go because it’s raining :(
Whereas 못하다 expresses permanent inability! (못 - poorly / 하다 - to do) Often times, -지 is also attached to the verb to express inability (+지 못하다) ~ 저는 피아노를 연주하지 못해요 - I can’t play piano
*BONUS*
You can add ‘-지 않다’ to say that you don’t do something, rather than you can’t! ~ 소주를 마시지 않아요 - I don’t drink Soju
Main difference:-ㄹ/을 수 없다 - unable to do something (in the moment)못 하다 - unable to do something (at all) ~ more natural and used more in spoken Korean
Hope this cleared up your confusion! If you have any more questions, I’m always here to help ~~ Happy Learning :)

i'm still really confused as to when letters are silent or not. specifically, like sometimes i hear the ㅎ in 해 and then other times people don't pronounce the ㅎ so i'm ??? lost
Okay! So! This can be tricky, and I completely understand your confusion! I had a really hard time with this when I first started out. It’s AAALLLLL about batchim (받침 - go here for Korean sound change in batchim position).
I will say this with confidence, if a syllable in Korean ends in a consonant like: (ㅁㄴㅇㅂㅈㄷㄱㅋㅌㅊㅍ) where ㅎ/ㅇ follows beside or in the top section of the syllable, the ㅎ/ㅇ takes on that consonant (becomes silent; null). Here are some examples to help you understand:
Correct Spelling -> Pronunciation ♡앞에 -> 아페 - in front [ㅍ takes over silent ㅇ] ♡ 안녕하세요 -> 안녕아세요 - Hello [ㅇ-ng takes over ㅎ] ♡피곤해요 -> 피고내요 - I’m tired [ㄴ takes over ㅎ] ♡ 한국어 -> 한구거 - Korean (language) [ㄱ takes over ㅇ] ♡있어요 -> 이써 - have / exist [ㅆ takes over ㅇ] ♡괜찮아요 -> 괜차나요 - it’s okay [ㄴ takes over both ㅎ and ㅇ] ♡ 좋아요 -> 조아요 - good [ㅎ becomes silent] ♡ 어떻게 ->어떠케 - how / what to do [ㅎ is silent again] ♡ 북한 -> 부간 - North Korea [ㄱ takes over ㅎ] ♡ 입학하다 -> 이파카다 - to enter (a school) [ㅂbecomes ㅍ and takes over ㅎ; as well as ㄱ takes over ㅎ]
Here a few with ‘ㅎ’ in batchim and in the top position of a syllable. There are a few exceptions:
When ㅎ follows after ㅅ it makes a ㅌ sound! Examples: ♡못하다 -> 모타다 - to do badly ♡ 있다 -> 잍.다 - to exist
These are just a few rules of sound change! I hope you find it useful (~~ If you’re still confused, I am always here to answer questions to the best of my ability! Happy Learning :)

쪽 어휘 - Directions Vocab
Hello Everyone! A small lesson here that I made for my friend about cardinal directions!
Vocab (어휘): 직진 - straight 오른쪽 - right 왼쪽 - left 유턴 - U-Turn 후진 // 뒤로 - backward 맞은편 - opposite side 길 - road 제일 가까운 - nearest Cardinal Directions: 복(쪽) - North 동(쪽) - East 남(쪽) - South 서(쪽) - West 문법 - Grammar ‘X’ ㄹ/-을까요? - should we 'X ~ 오른쪽 갈까요? - should we go right?
Sample Sentences: 1. 화장실 어디세요? - where’s the bathroom? 2. 'X’(으)로 가세요 - go 'X' 3. ‘X’ 어디 있어요? - where is ‘X’? ~ 강남역 - Gangnam station ~ 홍대 - Hongdae ~ (연세)대학교 - (Yonsei) University 4. 제일 가까운 ‘X’ 어디 있어요? - where is the nearest ‘X’? ~ 시장 / 마켓 - market ~ 병원 - hospital ~ 은행 - bank
If you’re going to Korea soon or if you’re still learning, I hope this helped! Happy Learning :)
