hi everyone! i’ve updated yuna’s bio. here’s the highlights of the changes:

yuna attended school at honolulu, which allowed her to apply for terrace house: aloha state. she gets accepted into the cast and becomes a fan fave of the show. her expressions on the show are definitely used a lot as a reaction pics.

her youtube channel explodes in popularity because of terrace house. i would say the similar popularity to lauren tsai i think??

she hears about sweethearts from another reality show star she hooked up with, but the thing is she technically isn’t out to her family and her fans. she decides that everyone can figure it out during the promo shoots because she’s dramatic and chaotic like that

It was a good thing she seemed unscathed because Deja did not know if there was a nurse on set. She took Yuna’s hand in hers and gave it a quick shake. “I’m Deja. It’s super nice to meet you. Do you need help getting your bags to the bedrooms? I haven’t been here that long, but I think I can show you the way.”

“It could be... but I’ll believe it when I see it!” That is, she’ll believe it when she correctly guesses her match and gets that sweet, sweet money! “Nice to meet you too! yuna smiles, as they shake hands “i love your name too, quinn! it’s quite a pleasure to meet you, even if the way we met was a little on the messier side. as soon as they let go of their hands, she puts her hands on her hips, looking at the luggage sprawled around her. “yeah, i could use some help. do you know where we can put our stuff? this place looks ginormous and i feel like i’m gonna get lost so easily!”

as yuna approaches mimi, her expression changes from excitement to almost surprised as the other girl takes off her robe to show off her bikini. her eyes gaze up and down her figure, but she figures the warmth that she’s feeling is from the heated pool. regardless, yuna definitely needs a shot. or three. “a bartender? stop saying things like that, or else i might start believing you’re my perfect match.” she giggles, throwing her own robe over her shoulder so that it’s hanging off her arms. “a body shot? don’t tempt me with a good time...”

“Whoa!” Deja cried out when she collided with another contestant bounding into the house. She was just as excited as the other woman, so naturally she wasn’t as aware of her surroundings as she could have been either. She stumbled backward, her eyes wide, but managed to keep her footing even in her heeled boots. Her concern turned down then to her crash partner, her eyes still wide until she caught them laughing. She dissolved into her own giggles and quickly extended two hands to help her up. “Well, I guess this is how it happens in the rom coms. Are you okay?”

Yuna definitely falls to the floor; with the way she tripped over her luggage, how could she not?But the fact that the other contestant is laughing alongside her makes the situation more funnier and less embarrassing. “I wasn’t convinced romcom stuff like that happened in real life. I guess I was wrong!” Grabbing both hands, she picks herself back up to her feet and grabs the duffel bag that fell with her. “Yeah, I’m fine! It didn’t hurt as bad as I think it did. I’m just super excited to be here.” Smiling a the other woman, Yuna holds her hand out to shake. “I’m Yuna, by the way.”

duckie’s eyes shoot to the door the moment she hears another sweetheart enter the cabin. “yeah!” she cheers, her arms instantly flying up in excitement and clapping a few times before quickly moving to cover her mouth in surprise. that secondhand embarrassment disappears as quickly as it appeared, leaving no trace like it was never even there. she whistles lowly, putting a hand over her heart. “i don’t think i’ve ever met someone so smooth,” she insists, holding out her hand and pulling yuna up to her feet. “now that’s how you enter a room!” she adds, joining in on the laughter and smiling from ear to ear. there’s a little disbelief in her eyes, like some of the concerns and judgements people on the outside had when she told them she was going to be on the show were fading away. “do you need a drink? a bandaid? a hug?”

when yuna falls, it almost feels like slow-motion, especially when she watches as duckie’s expression changes from excitement to pure surprise as she hits the floor. despite the impact, she’s giggling, amused that she get an expression out of someone like that so soon. “so smooth!” she repeats in a half-wheeze as she grabs duckie’s hand and hoists herself on her feet, leaving her luggage on the floor in the meantime. “that definitely was not the entrance i was expecting, but maybe it was meant to be since i get to meet you.” yuna takes a moment to glance at duckie up and down, slightly flushing at how pretty she looked. “i don’t think i need a bandaid since cushioned my fall, but i could never say no to a drink and a hug!” yuna holds her hands out with a smile, inviting the other into her arms.

yuna’s practically vibrating out of her skin the minute that the ceremony’s over. she definitely didn’t expect to see two lbeams at the very first ceremony and now she’s extra curious as to which two exactly are the actual match. as she looks around, her eyes immediately catch the pool party with buckets and buckets of alcohol and one of the contestants holding out a bottle of tequila. “oh my god, you read my mind!” yuna exclaims, running over to her in excitement. “and tequila too? you must be a girl after my own heart. or perfect match, since we are here.” she giggles, glancing around the room to see if there’s any salt and lime, or a chaser at the very least.

just as quinn was getting settled and finding herself exploring the cabin, she hears the sound of someone very perky walking into the cabin. the other can’t help but giggle softly by how excited the blonde seemed right as she walked through the door. before she could greet the other, she soon found herself on the floor as well, “oof.” she mumbled out with a soft laugh before picking herself up off the floor. “seems as though you’re already falling for me.” she teased and helped the other female up.

yuna sees the other woman right as she takes the tumble, arms holding out to her to try to mitigate the impact of the fall. she yelps in surprise, but she quickly gathers herself, laughing alongside quinn. “i guess that’s a good sign, isn’t it?” her voice is a bit breathless, still recovering from the suddenness of the fall. "maybe it’s foreshadowing.” she winks and bursts out into another giggle. “thank you, by the way. i’m so sorry for bumping into you, i guess i just got a little too excited!” holding her hand out, she adds, “i’m yuna, by the way. what’s your name?”

the  sound  coming  from  the  door  startled  alana  who  was  coincidentally  near  by . she  watched  the  scene  unfold  quietly ,  standing  exactly  where  she  already  was  without  any  change  of  expression . it  did  occur to  her  however , that  it  could  be  seen  as  rude  to  simply  stare  and  not , at  least , offer  some  help . therefore  alana  moved  out  of  her  spot  and  made  her  way  towards  the  new  girl , forcing  herself  to  show  a  smile  as  a  chuckle  came  up  along  with  it .  “ and  i  didn’t  know  it  would  be  happening  so  soon ! ”  she  lowered  her  body  to  help  the  other  with  the  bag  while  taking  advantage  of  the  moment  to  study  her  face . “ quite  a  first  impression  you  made  here … ”

“thank you so much!” yuna hands off her bag, but she doesn’t quite get up yet, not when a beautiful woman is staring at her face and giving her attention. she grins, her eyes sweeping over alana’s face. “as long as i make an impression! but i hope it was a good one. especially since you potentially might be my match.” yuna winks at her, a smirk growing on her face until she bursts into laughter. when she gets back up on her feet, she holds her hand out to alana. “i’m yuna, by the way. thank you again for being my knight in shining armor. i’ve always wanted to feel like a princess...”

olivia considered this for a moment before answering. “i’m from vermont. i have been that cold,” she answered. vermont was a cold hell; semi prestigious schools with ivy covered walls and just about nothing else. “i suppose there’s a certain appeal to firelight and wine, though i can’t imagine it’ll be a big draw for views - us, in layers, as opposed to us sunbathing in bikinis. i suppose there’s always the hot springs, though,” she mused, before extending her hand to shake her new housemates’. “anyways, weather aside, i’m liv. olivia faulkner. and you are?”

I feel like I’m Elsa.” Yuna reaches over and once again runs her fingers down the icy wall, amazed that this is all literally ice. At Jules’s response throws a look across her shoulder and towards Jules, a mischevious grin growing on her face. “You won’t encourage me, but you also won’t stop me,” she repeats. “Soooo... that means I should do it then?” She giggles, glancing at the icy floor they’re standing on. “Although wouldn’t warm water make everything all slippery?”
