Hi guys! As most of you already know, I work at a summer camp for special needs children called Ramapo for Children. Last summer, during my first year, I met so many amazing children and coworkers. One of the workers I met is named Makayla and we worked in the same bunk life area during my first session. Makayla was one of the hardest and most understanding counselors I met and I think that’s due in part to her younger brother who has autism. This summer, Makayla’s family would love to send him to Ramapo so that he can have an amazing experience. However, even with the financial aid that the camp gave them, they are still short $1500 which they need by June 23rd. If you can, please donate. If not, reblogging still goes a long way. This camp is amazing and I genuinely believe that every child like Chase deserves the chance to be around friends and workers who understand him.
