Free writing (focus on unit 5)

This spring I have plan to spend my holiday in South Korea. My friend going to pick me up at Incheon International Airport . actually his house is a little bit far from Incheon so we are going to go to Seoul (his house) by AREX ( Something like Express train from Incheon Airport to Seoul ) we are prefer going to buy ‘All Stop Train’ ticket than ‘Express Train’ ticket cause it’s more cheaper, he said to me that ticket for Express Train for adults is around 14.500 won, and All Stop Train for adults is just around 4.050 won and the differences is just 10 minutes to Seoul, Well it will take an hour from Incheon to his house, by the way I’m going to stay there for 3 days.

In the second days since his house is in Seoul so at 6 AM we are going to go to Namsan Park, it’s will take 20 - 30 minutes to go there by car. In there a lot of couple write their name in padlock and lock it in the fence, maybe I will try that too.. hahahaha... I believe it’s going to be awesome trip, cause I’m going to be there at spring when a lot of flowers in this park will blossoms, and N Tower will become a great view, So in this place I’m going to take a lot of picture, so I should bring my camera

at 1.30 PM we are going to do shopping at Myeong-dong, one of biggest market and shopping district in South Korea . I must not carry a lot of cash, cause probably.. if I carry a lot of cash I will buy a lot of things in there... hehe..

In the evening we are going to have dinner near Hangang or what we called Han River and we are going to see Banpo Rainbow Fountain there..

In the third days he is going to grab a few friends to join us for having picnics in the Han River. In the Han River probably we will riding a bike too cause there is an Public Bike Rental System there. at 11 AM we are going to go to Lotte World and play Ice Skating in there for a few hours. for last shopping we are going to go to COEX Mall. In the evening he is going to accompany me until Incheon Airport before I come back to Indonesia.... sounds great

PPB #Week 7

On Wednesday and Thursday we we were having panel discussion test . our group got theme “How do computers influence the kind of jobs people have”.. as usual they asked me to open the presentation and in the last section I told them  the conclusion, we told many things about it. As far as I have heard our discussion has same idea with another group, that computers can help us cause it is more efficient , more fast, more accurate,etc. but who do not up to date with the technology will lose their jobs to computers... cause day by day the technology become much better.

PPB #Week 6

In week 6 I learned about function of something, and the lecturer asked us work in several group consist 3 persons for panel discussion with theme “What is the function of Social Media for teenagers “ so I prepared the opening and the function about it, Mutiara would explain about the suggestion how to make it efficient and better for teenagers life, Risky would explain the conclusion about the panel discussion that we have discussed before.And on 15th and 16th April she had evaluated us with different theme, bu unfortunately at first panel discussion at that time is up and our group haven’t present our discussion but more or less we understood about panel discussion..

PPB #Week 5

last week i learned about giving suggestions and describing necessity. In giving suggestion we can use: you’d better, you ought to, you should, or you shouldn’t. an in describing necessity we can use: you must, you need to, you have to,and you don’t have to... for example: if you want to visit my country, you should bring swimsuit or bikini, cause there are a lot of beautiful beaches in my country.

besides giving suggestion we also learned about giving requests politely, and how we must react for each complaint: in this section we can apologize, and either give an excuse, admit a mistake, make an offer, or make a promise.. for example : 

A : You are late!, I’ve been waiting for you for half an hour.

B : Oh, I’m sorry, I have an urgent things to do, and I can’t called you cause my phone in low battery mode.

PPB #Week 4

on Wednesday i did my progress test i’m not really sure with the result, cause in the last section I felt i can’t do it correctly. 

The other day we learned about “ I will, and I’m going to” what I’ve learned just I’m going to is more certain than I will....

PBB #Week 3

on week 3, we learned about brochure and we have to make a presentation about it, my team play as a presenter from wedding organizer. and after that miss uke asked us to make another brochure and we have to make presentation individually with theme Indonesian tourism resort, the problem, and how to solve it. 

I presented about Kuta Beach. I’ve prepared every things,each words i want to say, but when I presented about Kuta Beach there’s something make me forgot every things I want to talk about.. ㅠㅠ.. ahhh i messed it up~

i realize i can’t speak in English fluently. I speak a little bit different with them, at the first time i don’t mind the way we talk American. British, Australian, or what ever that is, but now i do not know why, I feel,,, I’m not confident enough with my pronunciation ㅡㅡ

              With all due respect to my Lecturer, I am Yunita Hapsari, Student ID number : 20140430297, IPIEF Program student in semester 2, Can’t attend English class to day  ( March 13, 2015 ) until March 16, 2015.  I can’t attend your class because I have to travel out of the city to attend a family function, my presence is vital and important on occasion.

PPB #Week 2

I’m sorry, this is my late post, Actually I went to Jakarta last week because I have to attend a family function. So after this I’ll show you my permission latter I hope it will help you who need example for write a permission latter.

Actually last week I learned about adverbs of quantity again with Miss siti. Miss siti asked us to gave an example  using adverbs of quantity about public transportation in Yogyakarta. The basic is many, and fewer for countable nouns. Much, and Less for uncountable nouns: for example:

1.       There are too many private vehicles.

2.       There are too much pollution.

3.       There are too many cars and motorcycles parked on the streets.

4.       There aren’t enough buses

5.       There isn’t enough parking area.

6.       There should be fewer cars.

7.       There should be less pollution.

8.       We need more bus stops.

And next day we learned about indirect questions, how to asked like a native speaker. For example what time is it?        do you know what time it is?.  Where are the restroom?         Do you know where the restroom are?

The other days miss uke divided us into eight group and she asked us to give comments about brochure, and she asked us to make a brochure and we have to give presentation about it.

On Thursday  we studied with miss uke again about evaluations and comparisons.

PPB #Week 1

This week is our first week to learn English Subject in the second semester with Miss Uke and Miss Dilla. At the first meeting Miss Uke asked us to introduce our self one by one, and told her three special things that related from us. I told her three special things that related to me is : first is “my family”, why? Because they are the engaged volunteers who will help me if I need it, truly , because of Love, because of The blood. Second is Movie, I really Love watching movie, I really enjoy it. Third is London or New York, in my opinion this is the coolest city in the world, I wish I can go there someday and find a good job in the one of the biggest city in the world, if I can’t, I just wish,I can have a vacation in there someday. And the next day, I learned about past tense with Miss Dilla, in my opinion she is funny but a little bit fierce at that time.. but yahh.. I think it’s gonna be fun to learn with her. I wish… and I hope so… The next day I learned English with Miss Uke about “ I used to” it’s similar with “always” but it’s use in the past tense.. and ahhhh… she asked us to share our story about what we’ve learn this week in our blog and to day i learned with miss dilla about the differences "many and much,less and few" in the count and uncountable context. And well guys.. this is the first time I write this..  I hope you like it, and please tell me if I’ve write wrong sentences, and tenses.. Thank you.

I used to

 When  I was a kid, I used to play with the boys and acted like them, I also didn’t used to wear a skirt and earing so my Mom made me wear a long hair. At that time I had pretty dark skin because I used to play at the yard with them (the sun burned my skin).  Now  I am quite feminine. I play with other girls, and I care with my appearance. Sometimes wear a skirt , have piercing on my ears, and I have fair skin now.
