yunseul is effervescent. there's be a glittery, sparkly quality about her, which is befitting of her name. when she was born, her parents took one look at her & gave her the name yunseul, which roughly translates to "the rippling sparkles of light on the surface of water," & that's precisely what she does. nobody else lights up a room like she does. she with her big beaming smile, gorgeous long & wavy hair, tall stature, a physical beauty that rivals venus herself, & a personality sweet enough to give you a toothache. she's flawless on the surface, yet complicated within, much like the ocean.
there's always been a roguish quality about her. she's rebellious. they never really know what she's up to or what she'll do next, as she truly just does whatever it is she wants to do, what makes sense to her. taking the job on red light lane is an example of this. yunseul found working with her sisters stressful & restrictive, so she decided to take matters into her own hands, even if she doesn't know what she's doing. the baby of the family always causes the most chaos. that's what her parents say anyway.
her mermaid burlesque shows empower her. yunseul loves feeling sexy & desirable, which isn't something that her family would've ever encouraged from her. being the center of attention is a vice that she has yet to kick. standing beneath the spotlight & making crowds ooh-&-ahh is her all-time favorite high. however, what she fails to realize is that, despite how powerful she feels, she's still at the beck & call of the men who own most of the spots on red light lane. she makes herself ignorant to the things they do, which is the easy way out & not the right thing to do for obvious reasons, but that's how she is. instead of confronting issues head-on, she smiles & swims away.
naturally, this complicates her relationships. it's not easy being close to someone who always has an escape plan if things go wrong. however, that doesn't make her any less romantic & sensuous. there's nothing she wants more than true love. it make take awhile for her to move beyond flirtation, beyond the bedroom even, but if you win her heart, she'll actively make the choice to love you—to stand by you. as long as there's love, she'll stop swimming away. this is true in her deepest friendships, as well.
regardless of any faults, yunseul will always be kind. there's an innocent vibe about her that helps her get away with most things. she's sure to fuck up a lot, but you can trust that she never has any bad intentions. she's naïve, somewhat gullible, & lacks a backbone sometimes, but she has a good heart. that's the best thing about her.
