Jonghyun is the REAL MAN.
Jonghyun always stood up for women and their rights. He treated women with respect; be it fellow female celebrities, fans or his own family.
Mama Kim raised a man who has always been respectful, kind, considerate and gentlemanly.
Jonghyun is the man who would keep his head down while helping female artists down the stage just so that he wouldn’t accidentally look up their short skirts.
Jonghyun is also the man who would keep his head down while offering a female artist on stage a bottle of water just so that he wouldn’t accidentally look up their skirt.
Jonghyun is also the same man who argued with the award show staff members for not providing seats for a female group.
Jonghyun is the man who spoke about the Korean Comfort Women and the lack of apology from the Japanese government despite being an idol who promotes in Japan. It could put his and SHINee’s career in Japan in jeopardy but he didn’t care less about that.
Jonghyun is also the man who monetarily aided an organization that donated sanitary products for women who couldn’t afford it.
And I could probably go on and on about this list, but the point is: Kim Jonghyun is a man who respects women, believes in equal rights for all sexes, has feminist ideas that uplifts and benefits all sexes and doesn’t conform to the ideas of patriarchy or toxic masculinity.
If y’all have the gal to bring Jonghyun into all the cases that involve Seungri and Jung Joon Hyung, y’all really need to take a moment and think about how absolutely blasphemous it is to even write Jonghyun’s name in a matter that’s so heinous.
DO NOT, and I repeat, DO NOT BRING JONGHYUN UP IN THIS MATTER.
Jonghyun is not someone who You can bring up as a reason to excuse the assholery of some idols. He is not a name that You can throw around as a reference or example. And I swear upon every deity known to mankind, if anyone else keeps this up I’ll make sure to report You to SM and make sure of it that You’re sued.
