Here's some basic information / setting for this AU. I'm not sure when I'll add more, but I'll add it whenever I'm feeling productive
Definitely OOC (Out of Character)
— The age gaps between these siblings are: Suehiro 28, Dazai 22, and Tanizaki 18, divided into 6, 4, and 10 years, in that order, based on their ages in the current timeline
— Suehiro and Tanizaki's life paths are similar to Fukuzawa's in his youth, before Junichiro was later sent to join the agency for unknown reasons and placed under Yosano's care. Dazai's life remains similar, but the timeline is slightly altered
— Naomi and Haruno appear later, their origins unknown. However, when Tanizaki joins the agency, he is 14 years old, meaning this timeline takes place only 4 years before the main story
— The timeline in this AU is quite fragmented, causing things that should be to be different, becoming ambiguous, and uncertain. This means some characters may have missing or embellished memories. It's similar to a book that's been torn and the pages that need to be rewritten, where the original memory is distorted
— And for this reason, they sometimes see each other's faces unclearly. Like Junichiro couldn't see Dazai's face, or Dazai couldn't see Tanizaki's mouth. This means that in their eyes, one is interpreted as invisible (in another sense), and the other is interpreted as unable to speak (in yet another sense). Or like the framed painting before, where he could only see Suehiro's lower half, reminiscent of early Western comics / animation where only the lower half of human characters were visible

I finally have time to write down what's been on my mind for months and I want this AU to be largely based on interpretation too soo yeah rip my thumb for this art piece—
