Tai didn’t have the care to tell Jin off for what he’d done. He knew Jin had money, he was doing it to seek a thrill and Tai didn’t want to rain on his parade. Besides, they weren’t caught. He just had to make sure to never go back to that store for at least three years. He closed his eyes and relaxed on the grass, his heart still pounding in his chest from running so fast. Of course, the laughter didn’t help with the trying to breathe and not choke. This is what he’d missed whilst he was in China. He had missed Jin trying to get him into trouble, trying to make him be the rebellious teenage he was ‘supposed’ to be. 

Glancing over at the pack of gum, Tai shook his head. That was probably what he’d stolen. He wasn’t against the idea of chewing on stole goods, but he wasn’t particularly a big fan of gum. It made him feel like a stereotypical sassy gay and he hated it. Tai kept his gaze towards Jin, however, smiling a little at him. “You are going to get me arrested on day.” Tai didn’t care. Well, he did a little. But if he was trapped in a cell alongside Jin, it wouldn’t be entirely bad.

Jin's turned his head and locked eyes with Tai. He'd missed doing this so much, it was a lot more fun with Tai than with anyone else, maybe it was because of the adorable look of surprise and shock he got every time Jin ran out out a store and dragged him with him or the fun they had after doing next to nothing. He was sure that Tai also secretly liked when Jin made him do something reckless, it was like an unspoken thing between them that if he planned on doing something he shouldn't be doing that he wouldn't tell the other or else he'd try and stop him, it was always more fun for Jin to surprise him. He chuckled at the other and moved a little closer to him, "If we do get arrested, promise you'll protect me in prison." He pouted at the other before laughing again.

He dropped his arm onto the ground and sighed, laughing softly once more before reaching over and taking the others hand. His confidence was always something he'd been proud of, he wasn't too cocky but he was confident enough to always take risks and make moves on people, especially Tai. He knew that with every touch his heart would skip a beat and it would get a little hard to breathe at times but it was worth it, he'd grown to enjoy the feeling in a weird way, it reminded him that he had Tai close enough to touch and it made him happy. He wouldn't know where he would be without the other all he knew was that he wouldn't be nearly as happy. "I love you, Tai. I promise I'll never get you in serious trouble."

Tai lent against the wall of the shop, crossing one ankle across the other. He whipped out his phone, trying to make himself look busy. No messages as usual, but a new instagram follower. He sighed and dropped his phone back in his pocket, hugging the jacket around him tighter. God, he’d really missed being with Jin. He just felt so happy, it was a natural happiness. Not something that he had to force. Ever since his birthday, Tai had began to wonder if maybe it wasn’t just a friendship. Of course, he had no experience in that area before and the only person that had ever taken a remote interest him was Jae, who definitely did not treat him like his best friend did. It was special. Tai would never admit to it being sentimental, but it was. He felt loved and he felt safe. They way Jin kissed him, the way Jin touched him, it set his whole body on fire. But he was being stupid. He didn’t think of Jin that way. It was a one time thing that had meant a lot to him and he was thankful for it.

When Jin came out, Tai smiled, but it faltered as soon as he saw Jin pounce forward. His hand was grabbed and he was yanked down the street. Stunned, Tai couldn’t form words. What was going on? It dawned on him quickly. He’d stolen again. Normally Tai would scold him, but for some reason, it just amused him. God, he’d missed his rebellious friend. They both ran quickly with no destination in mind, not really sure where to go. Jin just seemed to be running to escape so Tai chose a destination. He took the lead and ran towards the park, the closest place that was hopefully a safe distance. Once inside, they headed for an excluded area past the apparatus and Tai flopped down on the grass isntantly. He began panting for breath, giggles escaping throughout each inhale.

Jin knew Tai wouldn't approve of him stealing, especially not cigarettes, especially since he didn't have to steal, he had any money he wanted on his card and he had his cousins German driving licence that said he was twenty two. He wasn't even going to steal at first, but when he'd walked into the store he'd just decided he may as well. He was a little surprised that the other wasn't scolding him right now, instead he was taking the lead and dragging Jin somewhere. He knew the old man wouldn't have followed them this far but he was way too excited to care, he was having fun with Tai and he really didn't want to let go of the others hand no matter what, the contact and the thrill of the theft was making his rush bigger than anything he'd felt in a while. Being an avid thrill seeker Jin didn't want to stop running at all but as the other fell to the ground he dropped his body beside him, his breath heavy as he began laughing, one of his hands on his chest, feeling his heart beating intensely against his chest.

Between laughs he stuck his hand in his pocket and pulled out the pack of gum, making sure to keep the cigarettes safely hidden from his friend, knowing he wouldn't approve at all. He held the gum in the air as he spoke, still laughing, "You want some gum?" He turned to look at his best friend on the ground beside him, his cheeks flushed and eyes bright, the cold making each breath visible.

Tai laughed again, leaning even further into Jin. It felt so comforting to be back with him, back in his arms. He’d be lying if he said he hadn’t thought about Jin majority of the time he was in China. He really missed being around his best friend. Surrounded by absolutely no one his own age and old, angry Chinese people was not his idea of fun. He wanted to talk to Jin so badly. He wanted to talk, to gossip, to catch up or just sit on the phone in absolute silence whilst they watched a tv show together, sparking up the odd comment about how one character was such a bitch, or how they didn’t enjoy the idea of a couple getting together.

"Life is always dull without me around. But you have loads of your rebel friends, I’m sure they all kept you company whilst I was gone. I’m still your favourite though, right? You haven’t replaced me with a cuter blondie, have you?" Tai pouted up at Jin. He watched Jin as he began to strip, thinking he was crazy. Was he too hot? How could he be so hot in this weather? Nodding, Tai slid his arms through the sleeves and gripped the edges, the fabric swallowing his hands completely. "Ah, you take care of me so well, I do love you." Tai waited patiently outside, pressing his hands to his face, enhaling the scent of the hoody. Jin always smelled so nice, it gave Tai an aching feeling in his chest.

In the time Tai was gone he had spent the entirety of his time with the rebels, apart from when he was home. However due to him always hanging around with his new friends he was getting in to a considerably more amounts of trouble, making things in his house more tense as his brother worried and his parents questioned him on why he stayed out so late since he obviously wasn't studying or with Tai. Although he was enjoying himself he always found himself wishing he was doing something with Tai, even if it meant watching a shitty drama just so they could gossip about characters and make fun of the terrible couples. "I know but I'd much rather have you, you're like two billion times more fun than they are! You'll always be my favourite, you know that. Please, the only other cute blond at school is me."

When he got inside the store Jin unrolled his shirt sleeves, pulling them down and buttoning them at the bottom so to cover up his tattoos. He looked over at the cashier, seeing that he was old he smiled to himself, before ducking his head as the man looked up at him. He ran a hand through his bleached hair, as he walked towards the drinks section, looking over some things before heading over to the register with both hands in his pockets. He picked up some gum and asked the man behind the desk for a twenty pack of his favourite brand of cigarettes, the old man looked him up and down before doing as he was asked. As soon as the cigarettes where placed on the counter Jin took on hand out of his pocket, the other one rummaged around as if looking for money. Before the old man could register what happened Jin had grabbed the contents in front of him and had fled to the door, the gum and pack of smokes being shoved into his school pants. The door opened so easily and as soon as he stepped out he grabbed onto his friends hand, "Run!" He pulled the other up the hill they were walking on before, not exactly running towards anywhere specific, just away from the store. As they ran he could hear the man yelling at them in thick Satoori, he started laughing. His face lit up as his adrenaline pumped through his body.
