Hello and welcome to the blog!

This is where Z-256, better known as The Twins, will be chatting, answering, and interacting with the other victims of the Blacksite. However, travel with caution, as not every face you see is as friendly as it may appear to be...

As the owner/moderator { @alikitty1416 } of these characters, I'm going to lay down some very important ground rules. This is to keep this space manageable and safe for everyone involved. So please follow the rules I set in place.

This blog will strictly be SFW and non-sexual in any way. I'm fine with suggestive or flirty comments but no outright sexual content will be permitted. While other heavy, and mature themes will be at play, please do NOT romanticize it. It isnt healthy for anyone and I'm not going to play into any hidden kinks or the like.

I ask that you don't spam my inbox. It can be very cluttering and I do have a life outside of this platform. Please have patience with me as I will get to responses when I am able. If I happen to miss your response and it's been a day or so feel free to DM me as a reminder.

*He looks around at the kitchen, confused*

*It feels like he forgot something...*

*Sebastian gets up, and makes his way back to his safe room*

*He barely remembers leaving to go to the kitchen, how long was he asleep?*

*He sits there in thought, until he is able to sense someone approaching*

Of course the sound couldn't be any normal approach. Because a serpentine figure much like himself ends up falling from the hole in the ceiling. Followed a few moments later by another one. Both of them looking very similar to eachother.

The first, having 5 arms and 1 stump and blonde hair styled into a ponytail, would quickly detangle herself from the mass of serpentine bodies. Given they had just about fallen on top of him after he was settled. Her fins flared as she surveyed her surroundings. Visibly on edge.

The second, having a scar around her waist and all 6 arms, would also scramble off the fish man. Poised near her sister. Confused and uncertain as to where they were or what the hell happened. Who he was.

*Sebastian got up, his patience already disappearing*

"Ow."

*Sebastian looked at the two, before smirking*

"I'd recommend watching where you're going, you never know when a large hole is going to suddenly appear in the floor."

ZA rolled her eyes at this guy's snarky attitude. Heterochromic eyes looking up at the pipe-filled hole.

``We did try to avoid it. But one of the big ass fucking fans turned on and knocked off our balance. They haven't even run that fast since the breach!``

ZB nodded with her sister's claims. Still seeming poised for defense in case he posed any threat.

``It's true. Besides, how were we supposed to know there'd be anybody below it?``

"Well, Since you two are here, I might as well open up shop."

ZA raises a brow with his words. Shifting a two-clawed hand to get her sister to stand down.

``You run a shop? Down here?``

ZB also seemed confused. What customers could ever be worthwhile down here?

``Why?``

"Mhm! The expendables... well, I wouldn't call them good customers, but they're useful."

ZA still seemed confused. Tilting her head slightly.

``Those nuisances? But again, why? Aren't they all pretty much here to help Them? Why would you help them?``

ZB nodded, seeming uneasy with the idea he could be helping their mortal enemy. Did he have a death wish or something?

"Because they aren't going to succeed."

"Urbanshade doesn't tell them how to survive, and an extra flashlight is less helpful than you would expect.

ZA still seemed skeptical but nodded. Letting herself relax a bit. Shifting to almost "sit" on the coil of her tail.

``I think we missed introductions. I'm ZA-256, or The Architect.``

ZB would pipe up. Remaining at a "standing" position despite letting herself relax to some degree.

``And I'm ZB-256, The Demolitionist.``

"Z-13, but I'd prefer you call me Sebastian."

"Do you two not have actual names?"

ZA shook her head. Pulling out a file from a plastic folder on her lower back. Both twins seeming to wear bags and pouches like he did. Though not as many. ZA seeming to have most of them.

``This file notes that ZB was made in the facility so she was never given one. And I cant remember my origins so if I do, I dont remember it. It might have been listed on the file but it's been inked out.``

ZB nodded again with her sister's words. Not seeming fond of seeing the file.

``To our knowledge the only names we have are our classification numbers and codenames..``

{He could absolutely give them nicknames if he wanted to}

*What is it with no one else being able to remember being human?*

``So how exactly does your shop work? It's not like there's really a currency down here. ZB collects these odd coins when we find them but they're hard to come by.``

Why did she know what currency was if she didn't remember anything before the Blacksite? Well it was a concept that felt familiar to her. Even if she didn't really understand why. Well, from her file she knew she was human before all this. She just didn't remember that life.

High stress and your DNA being pulled apart and rewritten with added genomes could do a number to a person. Especially when the body naturally wants to protect itself from trauma and danger.

ZB studied the shop as well. Looking to Sebastian as her sister spoke.

``Yeah, how exactly do you run something like this...?``

"It's pretty simple overall, I sell lights, code breakers, batteries, dweller meat, and a few other things to the expendables in exchange for data the scientists left behind."

"You two have probably seen the files and USBs on the desks, yeah?"

"USBs are 5, files are 10, DNA vials are 50, cubes are 500."

"Those coins you mentioned were probably ferryman tokens, which let whoever has one come back after dying."

ZA nodded again. Almost intrigued by this idea. Putting away the file labeled Z-256 she'd pulled out earlier.

``Yeah I've seen the files. Been gathering a few of them myself. Figured if there was anything down here that could get us out, it would be noted in something like that. Or even the notebooks lying around.``

ZB spoke up as he mentioned the ferryman tokens. Her tail twitching as if happy about the topic.

``I just like to collect them because they're shiny! Plus we wouldn't have much use for their purpose anyway. We can regenerate most injuries. At least she can. Mine's less effective. Hence this stump I got from a tussle with Blitz.``

She indicated her twin as she mentioned the regeneration. Waving the little stump left from her missing arm when talking about it.

``Haven't really found anything that actually kills us. But it's not like we're trying anyway.``

Of course the sound couldn't be any normal approach. Because a serpentine figure much like himself ends up falling from the hole in the ceiling. Followed a few moments later by another one. Both of them looking very similar to eachother.

The first, having 5 arms and 1 stump and blonde hair styled into a ponytail, would quickly detangle herself from the mass of serpentine bodies. Given they had just about fallen on top of him after he was settled. Her fins flared as she surveyed her surroundings. Visibly on edge.

The second, having a scar around her waist and all 6 arms, would also scramble off the fish man. Poised near her sister. Confused and uncertain as to where they were or what the hell happened. Who he was.

Of course the sound couldn't be any normal approach. Because a serpentine figure much like himself ends up falling from the hole in the ceiling. Followed a few moments later by another one. Both of them looking very similar to eachother.

The first, having 5 arms and 1 stump and blonde hair styled into a ponytail, would quickly detangle herself from the mass of serpentine bodies. Given they had just about fallen on top of him after he was settled. Her fins flared as she surveyed her surroundings. Visibly on edge.

The second, having a scar around her waist and all 6 arms, would also scramble off the fish man. Poised near her sister. Confused and uncertain as to where they were or what the hell happened. Who he was.

"Ow."

*Sebastian looked at the two, before smirking*

"I'd recommend watching where you're going, you never know when a large hole is going to suddenly appear in the floor."

ZA rolled her eyes at this guy's snarky attitude. Heterochromic eyes looking up at the pipe-filled hole.

``We did try to avoid it. But one of the big ass fucking fans turned on and knocked off our balance. They haven't even run that fast since the breach!``

ZB nodded with her sister's claims. Still seeming poised for defense in case he posed any threat.

``It's true. Besides, how were we supposed to know there'd be anybody below it?``

ZB also seemed confused. What customers could ever be worthwhile down here?

The empty, eerily silent, hallways of the blacksite inevitably came to life as a loud crash sounded down the long corridor. The silence trailing back in like a thick fog shortly after. Investigating the odd disturbance lead the serpentine man to a small broken down office down the hall. Shelves and desks knocked over and fresh blood trailing around the area. A tussle it seemed.

This became especially apparent when another desk was sent flying. Long multi-colored eel tail thrashing in the corner. Hissing and snarling sounding from the writhing mass. Until inevitably the angler and torso of the creature were revealed. Tangled in combat as the woman tried to subdue the more feral creature. Eventually throwing it out of the office room and slamming the door shut. Panting as she caught her breath. Her wounds slowly closing themselves. Not noticing the aquatic man behind her.

The angler serpent would turn his gaze to the wounded woman. Studying her where she was blocking his exit. Fins flicking slightly with slight irritation. He really didn't need to deal with this right now. Regardless, he sighed and cautiously moved closer to her. He really didn't want to set her off and get into a fight himself.

``Youuu alright...?``

He asked hesitantly. His usual snarky flare ill present for the time being.

The eel would whip around hearing the male behind her. Hissing as her fins flared out. Defensive. Scared. She hadn't sensed his presence. She'd been too busy with the stupid angler to realize someone else had been there. Was he a threat? Would he hurt her? She still didn't know where her sister had gone. Everything was still so disorienting. Even if the breach had quieted down overall.

``Stay back...``

She hissed, or was it a growl? A snarl? Eh a mix of them all really. She really didn't want to get into another fight either. And her memory was too hazy to recognize he'd been the one to get her and her sister out in the first place.

However, studying his more cautious demeanor, she gradually let herself relax. At least partially. Slowly leveling her breathing.

``Who even are you...?``

He'd study her. Keeping a distance back as she gives her defensive display. Surprised to watch her wounds close on their own. How fast was she healing?

``Sebastian. I assure you I mean no harm. I dont want to fight as much as you do. Who are you?``

His question was almost curious. Staying cautious in case she lashed out. Ready to defend himself if he really needed to.

She pauses for a long moment with his question. Who was she? What was she? An experiment? A lab rat? A toy? A monster. She shook her head as if to clear the thoughts racing through it. Heterochromic eyes looking to the serpent man again.

``The Architect... They called me The Architect. Or ZA-256...``

He raised a brow with her words. Did she not have a proper name? Had she even been human before becoming whatever she was now? And ZA? That had to be a split classification.

He wouldn't pry however. She seemed troubled enough as it was. Nodding as his esca flickered with the questions rattling his mind.

``I see. Well nice to meet you Miss. I'd ask what brings you to this area but I already witnessed your dilemma so I wont. Instead I'll ask, what are your goals?``

ZA would stare at the larger male for a long moment. Fins shifting slightly as she thought his question over. Eventually turning her heterochromic gaze away from him.

``Currently my primary goal is to find my twin sister... After that I want to escape this God awful place... Go somewhere they won't find us again... Even if I have no real answer to whats out there...``

He'd nod with her words. Checking to make sure all his items were in order before looking to her again.

``I'm working on finding a way out of here. Figure if I can gather some good data I might be able to bargain an escape for those who want to go to the surface. Though admittedly it is proving rather difficult thus far. Bastards left all their shit scattered around so haphazardly it's hard to find anything entirely worthwhile.``

He paused as he sighed, not wanting to take all the spotlight. Looking to her again and offering a faint smile.

``Regardless, maybe I could help you find your sister. Any idea where she could have gone? Or at least can you tell me what happened?``

``We were scavenging for any useful supplies when the angler came through. Knocked me into a pit while we were fighting. Eventually managed to somehow wind up here.. My memory is hazy in terms of where I last saw her... Especially with these hallways all looking the fucking same...``

She rolled her heterochromic eyes at his comment about her memory. Following him and moving to pace herself in front of him. Flicking the back of his head lightly with her tail. Distancing herself almost to keep him from getting her back.

``First off dont undermine me like that. My memory may be shit but that doesn't make me any less capable. Secondly, everything has been incredibly hectic since the Breach. So I'm sorry my mind is a bit scattered.``

She almost huffed. Looking away from him to instead focus on the area around them. Searching for a way back up to the higher levels.

The majority of the memories I do have are of the pain I went through... So it's more of a curse than a blessing...``
