SAD-II 021- F-4 Phantom 

F-4 Phantom is a seasoned veteran who largely moved into a command role. Her equipment may be a bit dated, but she knows just how to use it. Was formerly the ‘green ranger’ of Heavens. Rumor has it she’s a lonesome romantic at heart.

She was a mentor to Tomcat many years ago while operating in the desert under the code name Wild Weasel. It doesn’t show on the chibi too well but her tops consist of a tube top (with suspender), flak vest, and mesh sleeves.

Just people don’t look at explosions.

SAD II 018- Refining Hornet’s design a bit more, getting closer to how I want her I think. Maybe less overpoweringly yellow next time.

SAD-II 017- F/A-18 Hornet

Hornet is the youngest of Heavens Squadron, Tomcat taking a particular interest in her potential. Normally a sweet girl, she’s prone to outbursts of rage when overwhelmed. Her favorite weapon is a custom made pile bunker, “Stinger.”

SAD II: The Second Raid 016- AV-8B Harrier

Harrier is rather sheltered and pampered, only getting to interact with others during drills and missions. Her fighting style uses her unique redirect-able thrusters in a graceful, almost playful manner other Sprites have trouble planning around.

SAD II 014- Fokker Dr.I “Red Baroness”

One of the ‘unfortunate’ truths researchers found about summoning Sprites from the Vaults is that one can’t force them to change or be tailored to their liking. In one particular research facility, a number of Sprites broke out of captivity and returned the favor on their former tormentors before declaring themselves an independent nation.

SAD: The Second Raid 012- Asst. Figures and a Maid

I wish I had a dragon maid, I have dishes piled up and also people I want burnt.I was actually kinda trying out some watercolor brushes in Clip but I like my solid, toony colors better I think.

SAD: The Second Raid 011- F-117A Nighthawk concepts

She’s basically the sidekick and errand girl of B-2 from their ‘castle’ where new weapons are researched. She’s also the sort of obligatory 'flat’ joke recipient because the plane literally has no curves.

She also gets annoyed when people assume she’s a fighter due to her small, light airframe and F designation. Bombers are (going to be) equipped with bulkier, heavily armed exoskeletons and bomb bays.

Not pictured is her “familiar,” a skunk-shaped multitool named Werx.

SAD the Second Raid 010- Lina, Why Not?

I’m really tired and sluggish from the rain and work and stuff and couldn’t think of much else to do but spend a while doodling in Clip Studio Paint a while. I paid for it, I better learn it!

SAD The Second Raid- 008:F-15 Eagle

Eagle is a proud and fierce fighter convinced that her kill count should make her more than qualified to lead Heavens Squadron. Even though she’s been told otherwise by everyone from the brass to the janitor, she doesn’t show signs of changing her approach.

SAD II: The Second Raid 007- I was having a pretty blah time sitting down to draw today but this turned out okay as a rough take on Flanker’s ‘map sprite.’ 

Team Balalaika sort of act like ‘foils’ to Heavens Squadron mechanically, with Flanker specializing in evasion compared to her counterpart, Eagle’s straight damage focus.

Messed with numerous of planes tonight. Su-27 is probably my favorite of the bunch

SAD: The Second Raid 004- Dassault Mirage-III

I have too many American and Russian planes in Critical Heaven so I took a little Eurotrip today.
