“I’m a collection curator at the museum. It’s my profession.” Lena said but then curious about the boy who studied nursing. Not many men took that profession. That intrigued her. “Nursing? What type? Pediatrics? Geriatrics? Emergency?”
“You are? That’s really cool!” he cried, letting out a small gasp with the thought that struck him. “Do you have much from Joseon Korea at the museum?” Zaapiel had to ask it in that moment, had to know whether he could walk into the museum and see items from his life. “Emergency. I... emergency nursing is in my blood.” The angel left it at that, still not really knowing how to tell whether someone was supernatural or not.
edison-jung:
“It’s amazing,” he breathed, eyes brimming with sincerity. “When did you find this?”
“Umm...” he paused to think, eye focused on a little bulb of light as he did. “Two nights ago. I was waiting for you to be free so I could show you!”
edison-jung:
“Okay, this was definitely longer than twenty minutes, are we-” he felt Zaapiel stop beside him, and he looked up from his feet. His jaw hung open.
“No way…”
“It was close enough, I just estimated... wait, rounded,” he said, drawing to a halt. Then he was grinning at Eddie. Zaapiel had discovered the small grove adorned with fairy lights on his wanderings and just knew he had to bring the other here.
“Yup. I found it. So you do like?” the angel quizzed. “I knew you would!”
edison-jung:
“You mean this one?” He held out the scarf in front of him, tilting his head in thought. “It looks better on you,” he decided, and gingerly wrapped it around the angel’s shoulders.
“Lead the way.”
“Yeah, that one!” Zaapiel answered with a nod, quickly holding his head still as Eddie moved towards him. He grinned at the other with the thoughtful gesture, running his hand over it, before blinking. “Are you sure you don’t want one?”
With a small nod, he held out his hand for the other to take before setting off through the halls and out the house. “I promise it won’t take anymore than twenty minutes to get there. You’ll love it. At least, I hope you will.”
aries-xavierclarke:
“Get to the halls on the upper levels to the university,” Aries called out to the various students making their way upstairs. “There is shelter there for everyone,” he called out looking at the wind and the rain building up very badly. He realised that the classes in the lower ground might not be so alerted to the storm. “I need to go downstairs, you get to safety,” he told one of the people nearby
It probably wasn’t the smartest move, standing by the window when it was so windy outside, but Zaapiel couldn’t help but do so, hoping Beth and Eddie, and everyone else at the house were safe. He tried to pretend that he wasn’t scared, being stuck at the university while the water steadily rose outside. Turning as he heard a voice, he saw the president calling out instructions, before eyes landed on him and he was spoken to directly. “Sir I - do you think everyone out there will be okay?”
dinahfoster:
“…Anyway, I don’t know. I just think that bees are chubby little babies and we should protect them.”
Zaapiel stared at the girl with wide eyes, before nodding slowly. “Yes, bees are very good. They’re cute, even though they sting. Maybe we should plant a garden?”

Lena lifted a brow at the sudden invasion of her privacy. She was not the most social of persons though for centuries now her father did try to get her to be. “Ancient Chinese Registry,” she told him in a monotone as she looked directly at him with an expressionless face.
Zaapiel tilted his head to the side, it was the Chinese script that had intrigued him in the first place and his mouth dropped open slightly. “Why are you reading that? Are you studying it for school? I’m studying too, though nursing, not Ancient Chinese Registries.”
edison-jung:
Eddie crossed his arms, having every intention to stay inside, where it was warm and dry. But then Zaapiel pulled out the goddamn puppy eyes, and just like that he was mush.
“…Okay, okay, I’m coming.” He made a point to put on the largest parka he owned. “Can you at least tell me where you’re taking me?”
“Eddie!” the angel cried exasperatedly. “If I told you where we were going it wouldn’t be a surprise. I promise I will keep you warm, I’m sure there’s plenty of ways.”
Picking up a beanie from a nearby desk, Zaapiel walked over to the other and tugged it on his head. “There, now you’re ready. Wait! Do you want a scarf too?”
“I know it’s snowing, but I promise you’ll be warm Eddie. I’ll make sure you stay that way, and it’s really nice when we actually get there... it’s just the travel part that’s cold. Please?”

Coffee
mizuilenawang:
Lena sat alone at the coffee shop, her coffee laced with blood she took her time to enjoy reading a new book that had just arrived.
Zaapiel filled in the last answer of his homework, stabbing the paper with a full stop before he looked up. That was when he noticed the woman and the book, leaning towards her as he read the cover. “What’s that about?”
nocturnal-izzy:
“Yeah fifteen is a bit much. It would be like really hard to take care of that many animals in one place.” Izzy smiled, delighted that the other was this interested in watching his little bundle of mischief. “She doesn’t need to be out long. Just enough to blow off some steam you know? But you’d have to watch her. Like you just saw she likes to pounce of people.” He twirled the molecule slowly so that the other could see it better. “Yeah water is made up of millions of things like this. You know how they call water H2O? Well it’s because the molecules are made up of two hydrogen atoms,” Izzy pointed to the small white circles. “ And one oxygen molecule.” He pointed to the one red circle.
“Very true, and I was always told to be responsible,” Zaapiel agreed, of course the number had been an exaggeration in the first place. Sometimes the angel thought he surprised people with his responsibility, perhaps it was his regular over the top attitude. But despite his youth he had spent time saving lives on a battlefield and if that didn’t warrant responsibility he didn’t know what did. “Don’t you worry I will have her returned ready to curl up and sleep. I know how to burn energy, don’t worry,” he assured Izzy with a wide grin. Zaapiel tilted his head to the side as the other explained the molecules, committing it to memory as best he could before a thought struck him. “What are humans made of?”
nocturnal-izzy:
“I would get another cat but there is a strict one pet policy in my apartment complex. And It would be great to have someone to take her out when I’m not there, but I’m basically nocturnal at this point. So they would have to come at night to take her since we sleep in the day. And this,” He took opens the box showing the contents before reaching in and swiftly building a water molecule with skilled finishers. “Is a chemistry model set. We use this to build molecules so we can see their structure better. This is a water molecule.”
“Well, that’s not fair. I wonder if Beth has a limit? I can’t imagine she’d only let you have one, but maybe you can’t have fifteen,” he pondered, wondering what he could actually get away with. Not that he had any grand scheme. Taehyung shrugged a little at the other boy. “I don’t have a curfew, but I’m still usually home by eleven. But that’s still plenty of time for walking, right?” he wondered. Then he was distracted by the explanation of the molecule set and he reached out gingerly to touch it, before looking once more at Izzy. “This is water?”
nocturnal-izzy:
Izzy laughed when he heard what the other had to say. “It’s not like I want for her to get bored. It’s just that with work and school she has to be left alone for periods of time and she doesn’t like it. My poor textbooks are her usual victims. And yeah my parents live in the states and I don’t have any family or anything here. So the only option i have is being alone. But isn’t so bad. Just quiet. And its not so hard when you get the hang of it. Like look.” Izzy fished through his bag pulling out his molecule model set to show to the other. “I get to use these, they’re like legos but cooler.”
“Oh, maybe you should look for another one? Maybe if you put out some food another stray will appear? Or, you could hire a babysitter? I could take her for walks! I explore a lot in my free time - did you know there’s still areas of the islands I’ve never been? It’s actually bigger than you think,” he rambled, looking down at the cat. “Really? Neither do I, but I live with a bunch of others at Beth’s. She’s kinda like my mother. It’s called a Home for Wayward Youths - but I’m not wayward.” When the boy pulled out the molecule model Zaapiel’s eyes went as round as saucers and he peered at it with great interest. “What is that? Where can I get one?”
edison-jung:
“Yeah, Zae,” Eddie chuckled, “we can take pictures.” It was hard to keep up with the other boy at times - especially hopped up on all the sugar he’d eaten that day - but no matter what, Zaapiel still managed to be endearing. God, he was so whipped.
Just as the flash went off, he turned his face away from the camera and rested it against Zaapiel’s cheek. “Say ‘big fat russian wedding’~”
Zaapiel scrunched his eyes shut and let out a laugh as Eddie pressed his cheek against his own. “Big fat Russian wedding!” he cried. When the photo was down the young angel leant in to examine the device.
“Eddie? How do we look at it? How do we get it? I want to put a picture of us from here by my bed. Do you think Beth will allow that?” he shot off question after question, poking at the camera screen as if it’d do something. The ancient angel had clearly forgotten to tell him no sugar and he felt like he was on top of the world in that moment.
“Eddie! Eddie come here and have a look at this!” Zaapiel cried, grabbing the werewolf’s hand and pulling him over to a small square. “It’s a camera, see? We can take pictures and... well I don’t know what happens then, but we can take pictures!”
