brantdaugherty: Walking up on Monday like a fuckin boss
Clear Skies or Rain?
“clear skies. i don’t go out a lot but i do love it when it’s clear enough for me to be able take as many decent pictures as possible.”
finneganinqueens:
Finn glanced up, seeing a familiar face. He wished the sight of the other man would stir something in him, but he felt very little. He smiled, but it was like a smile forced for a camera- a dry reflection. Overexposed.
“Not at all, take a seat.” Finn offered, pushing the chair next to him out a bit.
zachary seemed to fumble, surprised after seeing the familiar face again. he had grown to admire the man but he couldn’t confess that outloud in fear of sounding weird. he had always been insecure, afterall. “finnegan, sir. sorry.” he quickly added the last part, unable to get out of the habit of calling him sir yet. he felt embarrassed, redness tinting his now scruffy cheeks. his appareance had changed since he he’d got out of glendale. he looked more grown up with the facial hair but the air of shyness had yet to escape completely. he pulled the chair, sitting next to him and placing his camera down. “i haven’t seen you in such a long time. are-are you okay?’
the coffee shop was too packed for his liking, but zack barely had sufficient time this morning to look for another one. he would have to go to the office in about two hours yet his migraine was killing him from the inside. he tried to move around as rapidly as he could with a tall cup of latte in his hand, alas he had been a second too late. all seats were taken except for one and much as he dreaded it, he knew he would most likely to have share the table. slowly, he approached with a careful smile on his face. “i’m sorry to bother you. is this seat taken?”
Lazy Bones & Coffee Stains
flynn-davidson:
The dark haired man had just stepped out of the so called teachers lounge as he had a warm cup of coffee in his hand. He was on his way back to his office. He needed to get a couple more lesson plans ready for the week. As he walked, he sipped on his cup of Joe. He loved the warm feeling of liquid trickling down his throat. It made him feel more alive. More like a person. Sometimes he didn’t feel alive at all. He felt like a walking corpse that had a bunch of useless information in his head.
Flynn was almost to his office when he bumped into someone. This making his coffee spill all over the front of his work shirt. He cursed under his breath. He enjoyed the warmth on his tongue, but not on his skin. “That’s just great.” He said, as he tried to whip the stain away from his article of clothing but it was pointless, the damage had already been done. “Next time, you should really watch where you’re going.” He didn’t really snap, it was more of a scolding.
“oh!” zack yelped, finding his throat in knots as he fumbled around to make sure no more hot liquid was spilled although it had been a bit late for that. his face was quick to flush red, he was glad he hadn’t harmed his camera but scared he may have pissed the older man. the last thing he wanted to happen was an altercation before he had to head to his office. stupid, stupid. he kept telling himself to be more careful as he tried to find a napkin. “i’m- i’m so sorry. i should’ve watched where i was going. are you okay? did i hurt you?” he asked, panic apparent in his voice.
ryanjamvson:
Ryan stroked his clear chin, the smell of aftershave was quite strong as he looked at himself in the mirror as if trying to find a missing patch or two. “I just shaved and now I feel like I’m fourteen again. Do I look fourteen?” The male stripper asked.
zack was surprised to hear someone speaking to him. even to this day he still prefered to be left alone though his job had started to help him come out of his shell a little bit more. he adjusted his camera, scratching his rough fingers along the length of his tired arm. “i um.. i think you look fine. fourteen is a bit of a reach, don’t you think? i’d say seventeen at the youngest.” zack hoped he was making sense.
princessleiak:
“No, Elphie, leave the poor stranger alone.”Leia said, looking down at the small white poodle who had circled her leash around the person’s leg. “I’m sorry, she thinks everyone is her friend. I can’t take her anywhere.”
zachary laughed a bit. the affection did not bother him whatsoever infact it made him feel at bliss since he hadn’t had any proper interaction with these little pups in forever. he wanted to touch the dog but he wouldn’t do it without consent. “i think she might have just smelled some of the bacon i got earlier.”
Happy 26th Birthday Zachary O’Connor ( February 24nd ) !

jvcedoyle:
They hadn’t expected someone so shy to turn around, not sure if it was a blessing or not. Shy people entertained them no matter how absurd that was, there was something about having the upper hand in confidence that made them enjoy the feeling thoroughly. “Of course it’s okay.” They reassured, their grin spreading even wider. They pulled the chocolate and handed it to him. “What’s your name?”
zack sighed in relief, uncurling his fingers off his palms. being around people still made him nervous but despite the somewhat menacing looking grin zack figured this person wasn’t that much of a threat. it was honestly embarrassing how firmly built zachary was but he had the personality of a scared puppy. taking the chocolate, he tried to smile. “thank you. i’m zachary but feel free to call me zack.” the young man said, clicking his camera. “yourself?”
rolandtucker-art:
“Maybe w-we can move to the b-bench over there?” Roland put his pencil behind his ear, showing his drawing of the same scene with him. “It’s j-just a practice, of s-scenery.”
“that sounds nice.” zachary smiled at the younger boy. he began picking up his sets and lens, things he had always carried around although he was aiming for just casual snaps this morning. “it looks nice. i’m really bad at drawing. you should teach me sometime.” he said with a growing grin. “how have you been by the way?”
jvcedoyle:
“I think I bought way too much chocolate.” Jace said as they stepped out of a gift stall, chocolate bars worming their arms. Don’t blame them, the fair had ignited the five year old within them. “I’m going to share a few of these. You want one?” Jace offered.
“oh...?” zachary could feel a blush creeping to his cheeks. he had been spending the majority of his afternoon taking pictures of the fair seeing as it had become one of the most talked attractions and he knew he could cash in some money if he did his job right. he just didn’t expect anyone coming up to him and offering up chocolate. “if-if that’s okay.” zack said, lowering his camera.
rolandtucker-art:
Roland was plastered to his sketchbook, sitting on the ground beside him and working hard. It felt good to spend time again with his friend, feeling comfortable and rather happy. “It looks really good.” Roland was quickly sketching he same scene, though it didn’t look as good as his photo. “I l-like the t-trees.”
zachary smiled when he recognised whom he had been talking to. he hadn’t spent time with roland in such a long time and honestly he felt like he was being a bad friend.. or maybe that was just his insecurity getting the best of him. he didn’t want to lose people like roland or margaret, they’d been the a few of the people he felt comfortable talking to. “thank you. i should get a better angle probably.” he mused outloud. “what’s that sketch about?”

Jace knew they were supposed to be at school right now but fuck it, skipping classes had always been their biggest forte and they were already aware they wouldn’t fail anyway. They had great grades, blackmail material and good money to shut some people up from their courier bussiness. Instead they found themself sitting in a cafe, finding the place less crowded than usual. “So.” They started out of nowhere. Their eyes were glued to the television. “Who are you rooting for the Olympics?”
zachary awkwardly sat on the other side of the room, not knowing whom the person was talking to.. was it him? possibly. his nerves were still all over the place as he had just returned from a rather long trip. zachary wasn’t good with talking let alone to someone who was a complete stranger. alas, he had a feeling it would be worse to just brush them off. “oh. i don’t really watch those. so no one?” zack grinned and it was tense.
