Episode of the Week - 2x16: The Boneless Bride in the River
This is my family. I found it all on my own. It’s little, and broken, but still good. Yeah, still good.
i can’t believe my favorite show is over. it was such a beautiful and fitting ending and im crying tears of happinesss and sadness. cam and arastoo are adopting, hodgins and angela are writing a children’s book, hodgins is King of the Lab (this was so cute im sobbing), zack (omg that christmas photo of him and hodgins made me squeal, it’s one of my favorites), vincent nigel murray, and sweets (he knew (right from the beginning)) were all mentioned, so many memories were mentioned, and we ended the show with brennan and booth, the two people who began the whole thing. the most beautiful thing was the meaning of 4:47 finally being revealed at the end. it’s not the end to anything, it’s the beginning. there may not be anymore new episodes, but bones is not over, it will always be alive with us.
so to all my fellow bones fans, 4:47
Thank you Bones for an incredible 12 seasons, 246 episodes, countless amazing characters and friendships, an abundant number of fantastic storylines, 2 of the best love stories of all time, and most importantly, 1 beautiful family of a cast. We will always love you.
#ThankYouBones Week: Day 12 → 1 bones cast final thank you (2/2)
Bonus:
So before the series finale in just couple of minutes, I just want to say again thank you to this beautiful show. I started watching on s5, and with this show I learnt how to watch foreign shows week after week. I have a lot of good memories watching this show, all the times I laughed, cried, got angry, got bored and even when I felt proud because I managed to eat while watching it.
I remember that in the season 6 finale I missed my best friend’s birthday party cause I couldn’t miss that episode, and I remember how I spent the next hour sobbing in front on the screen. I remember how excited I was with Brennan & Booth’s wedding, and how I cried of happines during that whole scene. I remember that Bones broke my heart so many times, but gave me a lot of reasons to smile again.
I will always remember this show, and cast & crew as fighters. Outliving some of the most ‘popular’ shows on american tv, turning into one of the longest shows at F*x (despite how they ignored it, and even tried to destroyed it), and for always being the show that was unrecognized, underrated and probably ignored by everyone.
Bones is the show that was always there for me. When I felt sick and uninspired to do something else, when I needed to distract myself for 40 minutes, when all my other shows were boring, when all my other shows failed me… Bones was always there for me. Even now, when I’m underwhelmed by homework, stress and physical pain, Bones is here for me, one last time to make me feel better. (Even though I can’t stop crying).
Thank you to everyone involved in making this show. To the crew. To the directors. To the writers. To the actors. To Kathy Reichs. To all the fans in the US who kept them alive all this years. To all the people here in tumblr who made amazing gifsets & edits. To all the people who upl*aded the eps and its subtitles. To whoever wrote recaps, and summaries and kept Bones alive and present on the internet.
Thank you for making my life better Bones. Thank you for showing me that a tv show can be more than that; that it can be a special part of my life. I will miss you. Always.
