One piece elementary au where shanks introduces Luffy to his boyfriend buggy and Luffy asks what a boyfriend is so they explain it like "it's someone you really like and you hold hands and hang out a lot and you couldn't imagine life without them"
And immediately after luffy goes "OH! I Have a boyfriend!"
And shanks is like "come again?? You have a boyfriend???!??!"
Luffy just laughs "mhm! There's Zoro, Nami, usopp, Sanji, law, kid, and koby!"
Shanks tell him that they can't possibly be his boyfriends if Luffy hasn't asked them yet and he's laughing out of relief
Luffy just pouts but the next couple days goes around asking everyone to be his boyfriends with varying degrees of success but eventually everyone agrees to be his boyfriends, with the exception of Nami who hit him and said since she's a girl it'd be girlfriend and not boyfriend but she also agrees
Luffy goes running back to shanks after that and tells him that not only does he have 6 boyfriends he also has a girlfriend
And well shanks can't really say anything now cause yeah Luffy did ask and if you ask any of the kids Luffy mentioned if they have a boyfriend they'll all say yes and that it's Luffy
When ace and Sabo find out they're annoyed but only because Luffy got a boyfriend/girlfriend before them
Also this interaction sounds funny to me so I'm writing it here
Luffy running out the house and yelling out to his brothers that he's going to his boyfriends house and ace and Sabo yell back 'which one?'
This would take place when Luffy is in middle school though
Also Valentines day was a nightmare for Dadan when Luffy was still in elementary school, Luffy would insist on handmade Valentine's cards and because he had to make them for different people he needed a bunch of different colors and supplies and not only was that expensive it was really time consuming
Also when Dadan found out he was dating a bunch of different people she yelled at him and said cheating is wrong until Luffy explained that they all knew the other people he was dating so Dadan just accepted it cause what else was she supposed to do?
Dadan also cried when Luffy came home from school on Valentine's Day and he had a bunch of chocolate and flowers and cards
