Slow burn or love at first sight: Slow burn. I love the build up and payoff.
Fake dating or secret dating: Secret dating. I like the idea of a non-performative relationship just for those in it. Also, I love spy games and intrigue so the more clandestine and forbidden the better :)
Enemies to lovers or best friends to lovers: Best friends to lovers, I eat that up. Enemies to loves ... typically I'd rather see them stay enemies 😈
Hurt/comfort or amnesia: Hurt/comfort, I think it's sweet. Don't really like amnesia.
Fantasy AU or modern AU Fantasy: Either one really, whichever is the more weird context for the characters, put those blorbos into a situation :)
Mutual pining or domestic bliss: Domestic bliss, too cute.
Smut or fluff: Smut ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Reincarnation or character death: Either one I guess, both can be good or bad depending on the application. I will say, though, I feel like mass media overdoes character death for cheap/lazy shock value.
One-shot or multi-chapter: Multi-chapter. I like to get to know the characters and the context.
Kid fic or road trip fic: Road trip! I love a good road trip. Kid fic is not for me.
Arranged marriage or accidental marriage: Not super into either really. Arranged marriage maybe?
High school romance or middle-age romance: Middle-age for sure, give me characters that have Seen Some Shit. I've never really gotten into much of "high school" anything.
Time travel or isolated together: No strong preference. Time travel, I guess, just for the sci-fi aspect?
Neighbors or roommates: No strong preference, either is good, for different reasons.
Sci-fi AU or magic AU: Either one, same as before, usually whichever one is more weird for the characters.
Body swap or genderbent: Genderbent. Probably to the surprise of no one, fucking with gender is my jam.
Angst or crack: Angst >:3c
Apocalyptic or mundane: Apocalyptic. I've always loved apocalypse/post-apocalypse settings, although these past few years they sometimes are a bit too on the nose lol.
