I actually find the Vayete + Mercurius vs Tallgeese 'accidentally' frying like a dozen mobile doll Taurses to be the coolest fight so far. It's a bit odd how Heero is like "oh they just have human reaction times" and Zechs goes "their reaction times are faster than me...!". But it's a good fight scene.

Headcanon that while Kaeya DOES speak Khaenri'an, it's like a rough modern version so every time he talks to Dain and Dain switches to Khaenr'ian, it's like talking to Shakespeare.

I have a weird kinship with Samuel Vimes, given that he is many things I am not (like a cop) and I am many things he is not (like real.) It’s like I relate to how it *feels* to be this person, this exhausted, scarred psyche who keeps having to *make the same hard choice every goddamn day.* How it feels to be so stubborn, dragged kicking and screaming into personal growth. To be the human equivalent of a weird shelter dog whose instincts will always lean towards teeth and growls instead of tail-wagging and doggy-grins, because trust is *dangerous*, hope is *dangerous*, people are *dangerous*, but … there are a few you love, and even a few who love you back.
