Vectorizing Idleness by John William Godward.

I chose it because I admire Godward’s artworks, his idea of drawing victorians in roman togas is unique and really charming for me since I like both cultures victorian culture and Roman culture, and I love animals, a painting with a kitten “must choose”. And also I thought that his style would be good if I transformed it into art Nouveau.

To vectorized it, I used the same method as we did in class, I drew the outlines using the pen tool, and colored it by doing the same method as well, for most parts of the painting I used gradient to for fill. I changed the background to match my vision for making it into an art nouveau and sadly I removed the kitten, she’s cute but it felt like she was out of frame after I changed the background.

I like Adobe Illustrator so far, but I prefer Photoshop. I kinda feel I have more freedom there.

I’m happy how vectorizing Godward’s Idleness turned out but I still wish if I had more time I would try harder to make it look more like art nouveau poster, time was the only problem I faced.

I visited emerging artists exhibition last year with my aunt who was a former art student. The artists were really talented and I got inspired by their work.

Interview with an artist, I had different artist in my by she didn’t reply. Luckily for me Ali Merza did and quickly too!

Analyzing Gravity ad by ikea, I love looking for furniture, checking the materials they’re made from and what’s the idea and the concept behind the design, even though I don’t want to design future or go near that field, I just wanted look and enjoy it.

Analyzing Baskin Robbins logo, I had such great fun searching about Baskin Robbins. And my all favorite Baskin Robbins is very berry strawberry!

Come visit Soare’s donuts ! Logo design assignment, I think this assignment was the hardest, logo designing is so hard and I don’t think or want to be logo designer in the future.

Photo illustration project. I turned buildings from into monsters, thinking they’re video game boss fights! The eye is the strongest watch out!
