ZARINA BRADY is a 20 year old resident of Penbrook. She was born on August 4th 1997. People say she looks similar to Perrie Edwards. Zarina is TAKEN.
Zarina was born on August 4th and originally named Alma. She was adopted from birth, growing up with an older brother. She was never informed that she was was adopted and she lived her life, until she was about 13, believing she was a biological Brady. Before then, she was a sweet and innocent girl. Always carefree and always happy. However, after she found out, she began a rebellious streak, dying her hair outrageous colors, acting out, and decided to re-brand herself with the name Zarina. She found out right before the start of freshman year when her parents decided to move from southern California to northern California.
Growing up, her mother put her in gymnastics to hopefully help her burn off some of the energy she had stored up in her little body. Zarina took to it like a pro and was at home, swinging above everyone. She was talented and a natural in the sport. If she had wanted, she could have easily gone pro, but she didn’t feel like it was for her, especially as she got older. She even missed a meeting with a scout because it was what her mom wanted and not what she wanted.
Zarina, who is know as Z to the two or three people she is close enough to, is an extremely flirty and friendly person. However she’s very sassy, outspoken and can stand up for herself. She’s been on her own since she graduated high school. Since then she’s never really stayed in one place for too long. And drives a motorcycle instead of a car simply because you can’t pack a lot on bike. She’s had multiple jobs, mechanic being one of them so she could fix her bike herself. it wasn’t until she moved to Penbrook and met Ben that she decided that maybe it was a good idea to plant some roots and no longer be a rolling stone. Currently she’s working as a mechanic while she’s getting a degree to become an interpreter since she learns foreign languages in her spare time.
Zarina, whose birth name is Alma and went by it until the discovery, found out she was adopted by accident. She was helping pack the attic when she found an envelope that had her name on it. Opening it, She read it. When she confronted her parents, they told her that her parents didn’t care about her. Zarina then did all research that she could on her case. However she couldn’t get anything, not even a last name. The papers had all the information blacked out. She did school projects on it and soon found out more. During her research, she found out that her parents had tried for appeals. However, her parents lie only fueled her anger even more. She also was hurt and upset that her brother played along with it, not telling her a thing. But because of this, She has become very distant from people, though she’s friendly. She doesn’t get close to many people. The only one she wants to get close to is her sister. Especially after the next person she got close to, Quincy, ended up disappearing. She hasn’t talked to her brother since she left but part of her is ready to. The other part is just stubborn.
Zarina is a bit of a pyro. She has a love for fire, how it can cause such chaos, but still be under control. She feels like she identifies with fire because her life is so out of control, but she’s regaining her own control. One time in Virginia, Zarina and a few friends, including Quincy, were hanging out at a rental home. They decided to have a bon fire and accidentally set the house on fire. She couldn’t put it out herself, too transfixed watching the flames. Quincy pulled her away from it. She left Virginia because she had stolen money from a local gang after setting fire to their warehouse because they were always giving her and Quincy a hard time. It was after Quincy left and she heard them bad mouthing him. She left before anyone could pin it on her and no one knows it was her.
Zarina doesn’t tell anyone about her past, not really.Quincy knew because of how close the two were but now he has no memory of their life in Virginia so she won’t remind him. They will smack each other into reality but make each other feel better. And all Ben knows is her birth name and she’s adopted.
Knew Quincy before hand, ad they became friends again. He told her when he left.
