UPDATED CYNARI HC (+Collei)!!!
- Cyno is lactose intolerant. He just is. Don’t ask me why or how bc idk
- Whenever Cyno is doing something funny or weird in front of Tighnari and Collei, Collei will just turn to Nari and ask:
Co: “why do you have him as a husband?”
Ti: “I don’t know, why do you have him as a dad?”
Co: “I didn’t ask for him, I’m adopted!”
Ti: “Hey, if I’m stuck with him, you’re stuck with him too.”
Ti: “…plus he’s kinda cute.”
- When Cyno would come to visit Nari and Collei and give them some gifts he brought for them, Cyno gave Collei the earrings she wears and the necklace piece that holds her little shawl looking thing on. (If your wondering, he brought Tighnari a desert native flower)
- When they were in the Akademiya, Cyno and Tighnari would sometimes stay after class hours in Cyrus’s classroom. Tighnari would even walk with Cyno and Cyrus home before heading home himself. (Cyno is Cyrus’s adopted son and his student)
- (Add on to the last hc, Cyrus treats Tighnari like a son even before him and Cyno started dating)
- Cyno would tell Cyrus about Tighnari before Cyrus met him.
- Tighnari gets very bossy when Cyno comes home hurt and bleeding because Cyno plays it off. That leads to Tighnari patching him up and making him lay down while Nari cooks for Cyno.
- Tighnari used to do drugs as a way to deal with school and work life all together. When he got Collei, he made a hard decision to quit on the spot. That led to Cyno taking leave to help out with Collei until Tighnari could get the withdrawals under control. He’s been clean of those drugs ever since. (He also didn’t tell Collei about it until she was in her mid teens)
- Cyno would sometimes sit in on Collei’s spelling lessons. Tighnari would even give Cyno homework (as a lighthearted joke).
- When the two would sit in the tree outside of the Akademiya, sometimes Nari would take naps in the tree. While asleep, Cyno would either run his hand through his hair or just rest his hand on his shoulder. (Nari would either be laying right next to him or have his head in Cyno’s lap)
- Cyno takes Tighnari out to the Grand Bazaar when it’s much quieter so Tighnari can appreciate the atmosphere more comfortably.
- Tighnari runs hot when he sleeps. He just does.
- Cyno acts more childlike around Tighnari. Cyno isn’t really aware that he does this but Tighnari believes he does it because he didn’t have much of a childhood back then and this is just it shining through now that he’s older.
- When they got married, they wore their wedding rings for maybe a week before leaving them at home while they went to work since they didn’t want to lose their rings. (Sometimes Tighnari just wears his ring under his gloves)
- They have two different wedding rings. One pair are the more detailed ones that they exchanged at the wedding. Only worn occasionally like to fancy events and such. The other pair are just two simple golden bands they wear much often.
- Cyno always comes home if Collei’s sick.
- The two like to mess with Kaveh and Alhaitham about how their relationship is just a mixed bag. They find their reactions funny.
- They call Alhaitham “old man” out of endearment.
- Collei always gets asked “how old are your parents anyway?” To which they act weird when she says she has a 7-9 year age gap between her parents. She then has to say “I’m adopted.” Because ppl are stupid.
- Cyno and Tighnari adopted Collei on their wedding day
- Tighnari used to have long hair in the Akademiya, but cut it on their wedding day to symbolize “the start of new beginnings”.
- Cyno tries to take Nari to new places for dates but when he can’t think of anything, Nari just tells him “you don’t have to take me anywhere, we can just stay right here.” (Also Nari just likes routine over new routes)
- Sometimes, when their schedules aline, Cyno and Collei go out of town and do something fun (fishing, shopping, exploring, etc) together. Cyno calls them “Father and Daughter day”
- Despite Tighnari telling Collei that it’s better to sleep on your back, Nari only sleeps on his chest or side. When Collei was younger, that always confused her.
- Whenever Tighnari is flirting with Cyno, he always calls him “General”. Never his actual name. Neither of them know why Nari does it but Cyno does a very similar thing by calling him “Fox” or “Foxy”
- If they were ever to be separated for months or were separated on a dangerous mission or wtv, when either of them return and reunite, Cyno would pick Nari up and hug him. (Like how those princes pick up and spin around their princess, smth like that but not so flurry like)
- Cyno unconsciously ALWAYS holds Tighnari by the waist.
- They both take Collei on family trips (like to mondstadt)
- Tighnari calls Collei things like “sweet girl” or “honey” and stuff while Cyno just says “kiddo”. (Probably the nickname Cyrus gave him when he was a kid)
- The spend the holidays with Cyrus and Lisa
- Lisa is like an aunt to Cyno. Lisa treats Collei like a young old friend and she used to treat Tighnari as “just her nephews friend” until they started dating to where she now treats him just like Cyno.
- Collei shows Lisa how much she’s learned every holiday while her dads and grandfather are in the other room talking about god knows what.
- Tighnari taught Collei the basics to sewing and even made her the little doll she has now (forgot how to spell its name but it’s the “Collei and Amber” doll)
- Collei sews small things for her friends and family
- Whenever her parents kiss, Collei makes disgusted sounds to make them laugh.
- Whenever Cyno tells a bad joke and neither of them laugh at it, Tighnari turns to Collei and says:
- “I’m so glad you didn’t get his humor”
“I couldn’t have possibly-“
“Shhhh… you’re our biological daughter in my heart.”
- Collei calls Tighnari “Dad” and Cyno “Papa”. She just does. You can’t change my mind.
- When Cyno does something bad, Tighnari calls him by his full legal name. Meanwhile Cyno’s just like: “…I know your first name… and you have my last name..”
“I have multiple names, Cyno.”
“…is your middle name like Adam or something.”
- Cyno has sleep paralysis which causes him to feel the need to get up and walk around their bedroom after an episode.
- Tighnari gets very freaked out and uncomfortable around things that look uncanny. His tail will fluff up and his ears will go back as he tries to get away from said uncanny thing or object. (I’ll post images of what I mean later)
- Collei and Tighnari hate thunderstorms but Cyno doesn’t mind them, in fact he enjoys them. However, he does comfort both of them whenever the thunder gets too loud.
- Because of his vision, Cyno accidentally shocks Tighnari. Like those little zaps of static electricity. Tighnari even has a few (but very small) scars from the shocks.
- Tighnari will sometimes lay on Cyno, face to face, and just move Cyno’s hair around. He really likes his hair for some reason.
- Cyno has extra pairs of earrings for his Jackel helmet, in case they break off in combat. Because of this, Cyno actually gave a pair to Tighnari as a birthday present. Tighnari wears them but only when his usual one gets too overstimulating (I’d imagine he’s just listening to it jingle around all day and that could get to be too much some days.) or when he’s going to bed since it would be more comfortable.
- Despite being married and such, Cyno has only met Tighnari’s parents 1-2 times. He met Tighnari’s mom 2 times (first introduction + wedding day) and only met his dad once (wedding day). Tighnari thinks Cyno has seen his dad many more times since they both work in the desert, just haven’t realized it yet.
- Tighnari always sneaks off early in the morning to set things up (with Collei’s help) for Cyno’s birthday every year (HAPPY BIRTHDAY CYNO ik I’m 2 days early, leave me alone)
- Cyno uses his spear as a paddle for rowing a boat when him and Nari go fishing. Nari tells him to stop but all he gets is: “Even the sea shall feel my wrath.” While Cyno aggressively stabs the water and nearly tips over their boat.
- Both of them don’t really drink. When they do, it’s not the strong stuff, if anything, it’s just enough to make the world feel a little fuzzy, but not enough to make them drunk or tipsy. (They have a child to take care of.)
- Cyno hangs upside down on trees and tries to kiss Tighnari “Spider-Man style” but eventually just falls. (Dw, Nari kisses him better)
- Tighnari is either gay or pan (I flip flop between both) and gender fluid (less mentioned)
- Cyno is Bi. That’s it. (Pretty much everyone Alejandro Saab voices is bi)
- Tighnari gives Cyno things called “kiss attacks” which is where Nari just kisses him multiple times very quickly on him (either the same spot or different)
