I can't find that one Cyveh post (maybe it was a tweet?) talking about the ship being refreshing and wholesome. They meet as adults via a friend. It's very slice-of-life if you compare it to Cynari or Haikaveh.

I've been thinking about it because OP is so right. The other two ships are yaoi excellence, of course. But there's something about seeing these two get a fresh start with one another that feels really optimistic and hopeful. They don't need to worry about a thesis divorce-roommate-situationship or whether their adopted daughter is doing alright. All they need to think about is enjoying the other's company. They deserve that kind of reprieve.

Also, it's really funny to think about Nari going "meet my friend" and it's the freaking general mahamatra and the light of the kshahrewar. The shock definitely went both ways AND I can imagine Cyno thinking "wow, he's even prettier in person".
