Xiangling chirps, before shooting a smug glance at Tighnari.

"And Tighnari can deny it all he likes, but he'd do the same for you since he likes you so much~"

"P-Professionally! I like her professionally, and I only joined her party because she'd have killed herself otherwise if I hadn't gone along with her!"

"To be fair, she ended up doing that anyway after you joined..."

It's like everything they say is calculated to make Paimon feel like absolute shit.

If I as the beloved narrator of this story spoke through Ayaka's body right now, I would say something among the lines of...

"Because the game designers decided it would be a wise idea to introduce an important character to Inazuma's political structure roughly six months after the conclusion of Inazuma's Archon Quest, and I can't write a character who I don't know about because I'm writing this shit by the seat of my pants and have no idea what I'm doing! WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU INTRODUCE SUCH AN IMPORTANT CHARACTER SIX MONTHS LATER?! FOR THAT MATTER, HOW THE FUCK COULD THEY HAVE DONE THAT FOR SCARAMOUCHE OF ALL CHARACTERS WHILE WE'RE AT IT? GOD! GOD FUCKING DA—"

I remember one time when challenging a domain in random co-op, I was playing as Sethos and joined a world with Cyno and Tighnari and Xianyun, and the Xianyun switched to Wanderer.

As we finish a round and go to collect the rewards the Wanderer is behind me and his sprint start voiceline sound "quit following me" LIKE BRO. YOUR BEHIND ME. Immediatley the Wanderer passes me and I'm hit with "too slow"
