Experiment of a Story, Maybe?
There was beautiful music. You could feel the power and the soul through the notes in sounds that the violin made while the musician played it. People were passing him on the street though, completely ignoring and blocking the music from entering their busy lives. It was raining hard that day and a lot of people were in a hurry. Many were chatting amongst themselves about going to work and complaining about lifeâs problems. One toddler in the crowd holding on to his motherâs hand saw the musician and pointed saying âMommy, look at that music!â. The mother seemed to be in a hurry and dragged him along ignoring him. There was only one group of people who seemed to be intrigued otherwise.
One man said âCâmon, please do it. I really want you to. It would be amazing.â The young woman who he was speaking to was giggling and shaking her head. She seemed really bashful. âNo, people will stare!â the woman said. âFor me? Please??â    It really seemed like she was not going to do it. The woman just stood there and the sad but pleasant music kept playing. The girl bit her lip and shook her head at her friend, even though she was grinning. Suddenly, she started to dance. She twirled and flowed with the music. The woman put her heart and soul into her movements. The music doubled with emotion and power once the woman began to dance, even though the musicians playing had not changed. The added visuals made the music that much more intriguing.
The violinist was the first to notice even though he continued the tempo of his music. He had a look of surprise and awe. Other people on the street started to take interest. They slowly stopped walking and watched. All of the volume shut off except the sound of the music. Even the pitter patter of the rain seemed to have been muted. No one was talking anymore. They were all just listening and watching.
The young woman became beautiful. She was an elegant work of art. Her loose black dress moving milliseconds following her legs and her waist as she twirled. It formed around her body as she worked and the dress became as hypnotizing as herself. She was glowing with radiance. Her whole body was feeling the emotion of the music. It was as if she knew the piece by heart and practiced for years. The woman elegantly kicked off her flip flops to reveal her pointed toes lightly touch the surface of the ground. It was as if the musician was the wind and the woman was a leaf being blown away.
The sounds of the violin seemed to grow louder and the emphasis of the notes started to be clearer. It was as if the street musician and the strange girl were working together to tell a story they both were begging to speak about.
The music continued for only a minute more and finally suddenly stopped. There was an explosion far off in the distance. People started to panic and look around. On a hill, not far from where the music was just played, there was a dark cloud of smoke and fire.
