CBD
CBD oil (cannabidiol) is isolated from the hemp plant's flowers, leaves, and stalks. These plant parts include higher concentrations of CBD as well as other cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids that contribute to the plant's beneficial characteristics. Various extraction methods, such as CO2 extraction, ethanol extraction, or oil implantation, are used to separate the CBD from the plant material. As a non-ebriating cannabinoid, CBD differs from THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), another cannabinoid present in the marijuana plant, in that it does not provide the same "high" that THC does. It is typically used for its anticipated beneficial effects, including lessening pain and irritability, reducing anxiety and depression, and promoting slumber.
