Today I have embarked upon one of the greatest days of my life: I just graduated from the University of Washington 🙈🎓🙈 I've always said "oh yeah...I'll go back to school one day and finish my degree since I only have a year left..." But never was serious...until January of 2015...I gathered up the courage and determination to re-apply for school to finish my degree! And let me tell you, it was extremely hard to kick it back into gear, since the last time I was attending UW was in 2010! 😭 The real special thing about graduating for me is that I have kept this whole thing a secret to my family...since I've been back in school from 2015, until now, I have successfully kept my family in the dark about it the whole way. I wanted to surprise my mother with a ticket to my graduation and tell her the long kept secret at that moment (which you can find the video I recorded of my journey to tell her at her work on FB, links in my bio 😂🙈😂) also I'd like to say sorry to all my family for keeping it a secret as now I see that all of you wanted to be there and the extremely short notice was a very, very bad idea on my part HAHAHA (so we are planning a party in a few weeks and he invites are coming your way 🎓💃🏽🎓). I wanted to thank my family that came out today to watch me graduate I love you, thank you to my sister Crystal who quickly pulled family together to come haha you're amazing, I honestly couldn't have done this without the amazing help from my the UWT faculty (especially my advisor Heather Hucks it's been a battle and she really fought for me) and professors who went out of their way for me (Emma Rose thank you for the super last minute help just a few days ago), my work and bosses for being lenient with me during this long process and schedule changes for my classes, my coworkers for really believing in me, pushing me, and trading shifts with me when I needed for exams (Christi, Jason, James, Jessica, Johanna, Patty, Katie D., Jo M., Dana, and everyone else honestly because you guys are the greatest and best coworkers!! Thank you so much), all the amazing new friends I've made who were as driven as I was to finish, and a (at University of Washington Tacoma)
