The boy with blue mohawk was breathing hard, clenching his fingers on the halberd stuck in the head of something that looked terribly like a dragon. He was shaking watching the beast draw its last breath. He was left standing alone among the sea of bodies, scorched ground and dying fire. Barely able to walk from the strain he was put through, he walks to a girl with a hoodie, kneeling down and choking on his own breath. His pale hands took her fingers into his, watching the dirt and burned tissue stuck behind the nails. "I am so..." he did not manage to finish that sentence as blinding light washed over his figure. The blue-skinned girl extended her hand landing the last, killing shot. She was grinning, looking at the people surrounding her. They seemed relieved as well, the light of nearby star making their colorful skin sparkle. They were tired, but they did it. The invisible creature in front of them fell with a thud and that was the only way they could tell it was defeated. Soon after they disappeared from the spot, leaving the planet behind them. There was not much left to save anyways. The link got broken. And they were as strong as their connection, the weakest link. A strong gust of wind threw the dragonfly like creatures fast towards the nearby rock form. It was followed by a loud thud caused by mass of six bodies hitting the structure, a quiet buzz and it was over. A looming sign "Game over" spun over them, minutes before first meteor hit the ground. The creature was alone since it could remember. That seemed like only chance to meet others again. To meet other creatures, not like them, there was nothing left like it in the Universe. It laughed triumphantly as the adversary fell to the ground, in last breaths. The monsters essence was left on its tongue. It smiled and opened its arms as the light covered them to transform it to new place, better place, less lonely place. They won, but at what price. She lost everyone, her moirail, the other trolls living around the hive. She was watching blood the rainbow of colour on her fingers, no longer touched by a sight, surrounded by strangers. Her fingertips moved to her horn, at the place it gotten broke in half and sighed. "What even is the point?" She mumbled and turned on her heel. She could hear the cheering of her new squad in the background. She could have joined them, but whatever followed Alternia out there just seemed so much worse. She could feel tightness in her chest. It was gone. She was holding onto hand of her best friend as the demon fell to its knees. They were both shaking, but it was over. Biting in her lower lip, she did not even turn when she heard Destro demanding voice from afar. They did it without him. It was time to move on. "Ready Wanessa." "Never been more ready" He managed to run to them second to late, the two girls were gone and he was left to admire a corpse of red-skinned demon and sky lightning up. It was the end. They all landed on a metal platform, in different places in the galaxy, some very far away, some very close. Weird symbols loomed in the air in middle of the platform. Panick spread quickly.
