Complexion reddening at an instant in light of Zekken’s ‘intrusion’, significant shame encased the Undine’s persona as a whole. Indelicately conjuring a response with newfound dedication, remnants of her pride impulsed Asuna to digress said ‘mishaps’ with immediate effect.  

“…Gomene, Yuuki. It appears I spaced out for a moment there, didn’t I..? I-in any case..! …What were you saying beforehand?” 

“nah, don’t be sorry! didn’t mean to interrupt - were you in the middle of thinkin’ about somethin’ important?”

with a quizzical look, the leader of the sleeping knights sits up a little bit, hands resting on the wooden table in front of them. she removes a little more distance, a brow quirking upwards. finally, she sighs, sitting back down and lacing her fingers together behind her head.

“nothin’ much, really. was just thinking of what dungeon to take next. i hear there’s a couple new ones, just dunno which to hit first.”

“do... do you really mean it?”

she shouldn’t sound so surprised - they were friends, right? asuna inviting her out - the two of them, spending time together. was she imposing? was she intruding, inviting herself along when asuna wanted to be alone?

no. yuuki shook the thoughts from her head, before a smile is clear as day, shining as bright as her excited crimson eyes. a nod of her head, and she grabs at the healer’s hands.

“yeah! yeah, i’d love to!”

the arc is reasonably taken aback, cerulean pools locking onto the stranger — his weaponry almost seems to weigh down upon him far more than before, feeling self-conscious under scrutinizing eyes.

       “sure, yeah! yeah, it’s got a name. it’s, uh…” long pause. what was it again? it feels like it’s been years since he last heard its’ name. “it’s— crocea mors. my grandpa named it.”

he smiles then. it doesn’t look like his grandpas anymore, but hopefully he’d still be proud of it.

        “— you can hold it if you want, y’know.”

she tries her best to contain her excitement - a new weapon! and it wasn’t a gun - she was surprised, and a bit relieved, to be frank. she also boasted a simple, yet beautifully designed sword. made with some of the strongest material’s she could find - it did the job.

“do - do you mean it?!” she beams, though her hands are already reaching for the hilt, hesitation clear in her petite body, before carefully, respectfully grasping at it.

“this is cool! man, i’ll tell you - no one has any appreciation for the classics!”

She enjoyed being a hired help rather than part of a squadron over in GGO. There was no need to squabble over loot or worry about teammates during dungeon fights. Of course Yuuki was an exception, but the main desire that burned inside of Sinon was her desire to kill everyone. “Of course! No one is going to want to fight the two of us together.”

“oh, wow. that sounds annoying,”

her reply comes with a huff, arms folding across slender chest. it sounded fun - there was no doubt about that. but if there was going to be unnecessary drama, she’d have to do her best to avoid it - easy enough. but, at sinon’s confidence, a grin is quick to return to zekken’s face.

“yeah! yeah, you’re right! ain’t no one gonna mess with us! we’ll be a pair to be reckoned with!”

“I guess you could say so. Though, of course, Kirito built a reputation that exceeds mine. There aren’t a lot of girls in GGO anyways, so a lot of players tend to flock to anything with long hair or a feminine face.” She’d be willing to bet that the black swordsman would unhappily vouch for her. “Stick with me and I’ll make sure none of the creeps mess with you either.”

it seemed like a silly comment, but really, yuuki didn’t expect different vrmmo’s to be so diverse. she mainly stuck with fantasy games, anyway - she made a mental note to be a little more open to the different worlds. “well - alright, sinonon. with you as my guide, i’m sure i’ll be a pro in no time!”
